The last five years have seen a lot of change and evolution within the SEC. So I decided to see where the various programs of the conference stand since we began to become more offensively oriented. Without further adieu, here are the rankings:

1. Alabama: 79-6 (.929)
2. Georgia: 62-17 (.784)
3. LSU: 56-19 (.746)
4. Florida: 52-24 (.684)
5. Texas A&M: 49-26 (.653)
6. Auburn: 48-29 (.623)
7. Kentucky: 42-33 (.560)
8. Mississippi State: 42-34 (.552)
9. Tennessee: 38-35 (.520)
10. Ole Miss: 35-36 (.492)
11. Missouri: 35-37 (.486)
12. South Carolina: 31-42 (.424)
13. Arkansas: 26-46 (.361)
14. Vanderbilt: 24-47 (.338)

I mean we did decline a little in 2019. We actually lost two games that season.

Imagine how big of a difference the outside perception of the conference would be if Georgia won in 2017. People love to say it’s all Bama and LSU is a One hit wonder.

Uga plays in the east. Most of their losses are probably against the west, in which they only play 2-3 west teams a year

I think they were undefeated in the East for a while until they got punched in their mouth in Jacksonville.

Yeah, you just go ahead and ignore those other four Bama NCs won over the last 12 years.

LSU one hit wonder confirmed.

If by West you mean Alabama, then you are probably right. I mean, we have two against LSU, too, but we beat Auburn regularly, Arkansas twice, Texas A&M, MState twice...I mean, take Alabama out and we are pretty even with our record against the west as LSU is against the east.

So since 2015 Georgia is 10-4 against the west taking Alabama out of the equation and LSU is 11-3 against the East. Funny. It looks fairly even to me.

Would you like for me to check and see how Auburn has done against the "weak" east since 2015?

You Tigahs sure like to ride those Alabama coattails.

So we're top 3 over a period where we fired a coach and wanted to fire the next coach for 2+ seasons of the rest? I guess that really does point to the rest of the SEC sucking recently.

Even without the crimson glasses on, that record is special and probably won’t see a run like this for a while.
