1-4: LSU/MSU/SC/Vandy
5-6: Ark/OM
7-9: A&M/UF/Bama
10-14: UK/Aub/MU/UGA/UT
Hard to do more than really group them if you ask me.

Arkansas and Vandy are equal IMO.

Postseason showing aside... I don't see how you can have Vanderbilt that low. What they did during the regular season would still put them above MSU and USC, IMO, for right now at least. If either do anything in Omaha (assuming we get there...) then I could see them slipping, but not yet.

pretty sure he means right now or this season. state took three of four from SC and is already in Omaha.
... soooooo, if SCAR punches their tickets to Omaha today then they would move up to #1 immediately because they took two of three from LSU in Baton Rouge this season?
Okay, I get it now. Not nearly as shitty as originally thought.

no. LSU finished ahead of both in the standings and hosted at both regional and supers. State and SC are on more equal footing.

Ranking the SEC Baseball Programs (as of today):
South Carolina only three? I know they could be eliminated today but they have been really good recently and are still alive.
They by all rights should be #2, but if they win today they probably are...
Yeah sorry guys - 'programs' may have been the wrong choice of words for this opinion :)

Why do Bama fans that don't care about baseball consistently post in clearly marked baseball threads?
Clearly it's the usual childish attempt to belittle a sport others are good at and they're not.

Not really. Arkansas has 12 straight NCAAs, 3 CWS since 2004.
Vandy can't ever seem to get out of their own way when they have a decent team.

As far as baseball and Bama goes, I believe the 1997 season made their arse quit.

Guy just posted that Bama had the second highest winning percentage in conference.

you are pitiful. how far back did you go? maybe the late 1800;s. anyone putting alabama as the second best baseball program in the SEC is ignorant in addition to being biased.

It came down to the final series of the season as to whether it would be UT or Mizzou in the SEC tourney (UGA had been out of it for a while).
I would say that UT, Mizzou and Georgia would have been interchangable on the bottom of the list for '13.
