I'd say us vs Arkansas is more likely for the middle level. Then LSU or someone else

Im just pointing out a glaring problem that must be resolved with the 3 permanent teams chosen for LSU. LSU needs a permanent opponent for rivalry week.

I would think it'd be Arky. Makes sense geographically and the Arky/Mizzou never seemed to like an actual rival game to me. Just like A&M and South Carolina

You think the SEC is going to make AU’s 3 permanents Alabama, Georgia, and LSU? That’s absurd

Maybe we can get TROY in the conference for LSU.

So you're comparing Troy to vandy.

Tx., Ok., & Mizz

Why do those three teams have to be on the same side?

We moved to 9 games, everyone gets a rotation and one perm rival from the other side, OK gets TX, home for dinner.

Thanks for answering, but that answer isn't good enough for me to not ask it again. What is wrong with East versus West?

Prob more rhetorical now, because East/West is a long gone conclusion.

Everybody wants Arky as a permanent.

We have been told in the past Texas A&M vs MSU will be a permanent rivalry. No disrespect to MSU but will hate losing the annual Arky game.

Aggies vs Arky goes all the way back to many years in the old SWC.

So LSU would get an easy win just about every year?

A$M will get Texas and LSU.

The only question is who is third.

SC or Arky? Some have mentioned OU, but I don't see it.

It's not going to be South Carolina. Geography is a factor. It could be Arkansas, one of the Mississippi schools, Oklahoma, or Missouri.

Once again…geography.

Putting Tx. or Ok. in the East makes as much sense as Mizz. in the East.

So, what does an example schedule look like under that format?

Yes there are 4 schools i consider big 12. Looks like with are stuck with aggies soooo

Why would that be absurd? Tennessee has played arguably the three best teams in the SEC every year since 1992: Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.

At least you had that balanced out with Vandy and Kentucky on the schedule every year.

Auburn had to play Alabama, Georgia, and LSU every season from 1992-2023 and Florida was ever year from 1992-2002. And we didn’t get Vandy and Kentucky to balance it out.

I think Ole Miss/LSU is closer to 100% than 50%, by a lot. It’s very close to 100% in my opinion.

I'd prefer LSU, Ark and MSU. I moved on from the horns in 2011 and that game no longer has any appeal. Things change.

Exactly like it did before TX and OK joined.

Imagine the SEC 2023 Helmet schedule with two extra rows. The east adds TX as the 9th game, and the West adds OK as the 9th game. The rotations stay the same, the perms stays the same, OK and TX are each others Perm, and they jump in the rotation.

Texas SEC East Schedule
GA
TN
FLA
USC
KY
VY
MZ
Rotate
OK - permanent

OK SEC West Schedule
AL
AU
ST
LSU
OM
AR
TAM
Rotate
TX - permanent

This is the way it should be I think.

Again, this brings up the question: WHERE does Mizz. go - incorrectly in the East? But then what do you do about TA&M?
