Yet Alabama only lost by 5 to LSU to the "best LSU team in history." Keep telling yourself how wonderful LSU is, maybe someone will believe you.
While you’re spouting this EBM of a post (Explosive Bowel Movement) I think LSU scored again lololololol
Did the Tuscaloosa News get it wrong? Lololololol

[quote] I do have a question. Do you think LSU will finally make it double digits in wins against Alabama in Baton Rouge? Odds say "no"
When LSU rips that @$$ with Joe Burrow Jr this November, the series since 2000 is tied at 11-11 and when LSU wins the Natty and improves its 16 game win streak to 31, that will be Ed Orgeron 2 Nattys vs Sabah at 1 Since Ed got the LSU job in 2017.
2 nattys in 4 years for Ed what will you Gumps do? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmelt
Now Gump I got a question for you!
Who is gonna stop LSU if Myles Brennan is close to Joe Burrows Production in 2019:
A) Passing TDs — 4 per game
B) Passing Ydg — 400 per game
C) scoring points — 48 per game
Esp while you got Dump Jones at QB and Freshman Road Kill for backup!

That's fricking rich coming from an LSU fan
You talking about 2007?
2007 LSU beat the #9, #12, #13 , and #15 teams in the final polls (this doesn’t include Ohio’s State because we’re talking about why we deserved to be there)
Won the division and won the SEC.
2011 Alabama beat #5 Arkansas and didn’t win their conference or even their division.
Alabama got in on pure eyeball test.
How many teams that haven’t won their division have even gotten to play for a NC?

Yall got in as a two loss team entirely because West Virginia and Missouri shite the bed.

I dont ever recall LSU getting into a title game without winning their division or the conference.
As Alabama has done twice.
Not sure what you're trying to say.

And we won the SEC and beat a lot of ranked teams. Who SHOULD have been in there besides LSU?
Alabama got in because The refs fricked up a FG call and voters didn’t care that they bear 3x as many ranked teams.

i guess I'm not all that knowledgeable about the 1992 Alabama team but they seem kind of high considering the dominance we've seen from Saban. I remember being surprised they dominated Miami like they did though.

Everyone in the top 5 had two losses except for Ohio State...

Sure we were lucky but who would you pick over us?

LSU beat 4 teams that finished in the top 15. That’s final poll, and that’s not including Ohio State.
9 Virginia Tech
12 Tennessee
13 Florida
15 Auburn.
All of them were ranked at the time LSU was picked for the BCS Game.
2 of them were top 10. One was a conference champion.

That VT game was the biggest arse whipping we put on a highly ranked team until the 2019 GOATs came along

2008 UF would definitely not lose by 2 touchdowns
That 2008 UF team is relatively underrated because of the Ole Miss loss. I get it, that's certainly a fair way to judge teams, but the last 2/3's of the season they were a juggernaut. The post-Ole Miss version would be a very tough win for anybody - they were a complete team.

2008 UF was a solid NC.
It’s hard to go undefeated but they beat 5 teams that finished ranked that year.
May do a spinoff thread for how many team that finished in the top 25 each SEC NC team beat.
May only go back to 98 in the BCS era.
