10+ wins with 0-1 loss since 2000

Alabama 8

Florida 3
Georgia 3
LSU 3
Auburn 2

All other SEC teams 0

eta: I wasn’t trying to make this a thread about Texas.. but since I put the stats together, I included Texas and OU. I took them out since I don’t want to argue it, but I think this is at pretty good stat.

…what results are these? And why are you trying to compare what Texas has/hasn’t done in the Big12 to what those have done in the SEC..?

There are only two programs that have won three national championships in the 21st century and they’re both in the SEC West.

Texas has one title in 50+ years and has only won the Big12 twice in the 21st century.

That’s embarrassing.

This conference is getting weaker in football

So the SEC has won the las 4 with 3 different teams.
Since the BCS/CFP (1998) era, the SEC has produced 15 national champions. In that same time span 7 different teams has won it.

Arkansas isn’t on this list. Arkansas has always been shite.

What isn’t registering..?

In the last 5 years (2019-2023), LSU will have had 3 teams better than Alabama’s.

Is what it is.

Guessing this is based off last season? If so, it seems about right.

If it's based only on last year, it doesn't make sense. One of the tier 2 teams beat two of the tier 1 teams (including one blowout).

If it's taking the last few years into account and/or projecting into the future, it makes more sense

LSU just beat you? If based on last year you’re lucky to be Tier 1

You have beat Alabama once in recent memory and that was last year. Before that I can’t remember the last time LSU won.

It has been rare, but gosh darn it I’ll use random timelines to prove my point. In this case only four years matter and we are split 2-2.

I sound like a damn A&M fan now
