Florida vs FSU clears easily but the others are pretty good too though

South Carolina-Clemson is the nastiest of the 4 to me, just based on what I've seen from their fans over the years.
Florida-Florida State is pretty nasty too, it just seems to have lost a little luster from those 90's games.
Georgia-Georgia Tech feels a little forced in a way. Georgia just whips their arse every year. Most Tech students seem to be international kids who don't care. It's not super compelling from the outside looking in. Maybe it was a lot better when Tech was in the conference.
Kentucky-Louisville is extremely heated and bitter, but I get why no one outside of the state ever sees that or cares. The basketball game is where the two programs are elite, and that's what everyone nationally focuses on.
I mean Bobby Petrino grabbed our line coach by the collar and tried to punch him at midfield one year. We had players pick up trash cans on the sideline and start beating Dirty Bird players with them. I had an 8 yr old spit on me one year at the Pizza Pit. Some homeless guy tried to pull a blade on me and steal some brewskis out if my cooler.
Louisville was viewed as the black school and Kentucky as the white school for a long long time. The rivalry is fiercest in Louisville for obvious reasons. I realize nothing I say is going to change outside opinions about the game but people who doubt our hatred of each other don't have a fricking clue.

Ironic, since they're both too big of pussies to schedule each other annually.

Weirdly besides hating Miami, Georgia, Tenn, FSU, and Miami more I have always been a fan of the Florida-LSU game

South Carolina Clemson.
There honestly seems more dislike between Miami and FSU that i cant put UF FSU 1st.

In order:
Clemson/USCe
Florida/FSU
Kentucky/Louisville
Georgia/Georgia Tech
Clemson/USCe and Florida/FSU flip flopped a few years ago. From the 90s to Napier FSU/Florida were the clear number one.

I suspect if LSU and clemson play again in the next couple years, this will start to become one.

But all of those are in-state rivalries involving the SEC and OOC. Other than Tulane (historically) we do not have anything remotely like it.

Most are going to say theirs is best.

Last year they almost beat us. They usually beat us once every 6 or 7 years, so we are due.
I like their coach Brent Key. He hates UGA, but that bothers me none. I get the feeling he and Kirby respect each other.

I like the egg bowl best, it never fails to disappoint. WLOCP and COFH are bothering lopsided AF.
Those aren't out-of-conference games.

Respectively, how old are you? Usually, when someone says the above, it's always from a younger person who doesn't remember what it was like when GT was more competitive.
It's horrible when GT wins. We have to smell the dust and mothballs on all of that GT gear that comes out of hiding.

They had to stop the USC/CU rivalry for a few years because the CU cadets marched on Columbia over a poster they did not like.
When did that occur?
Until covid, it was the oldest and longest uninterrupted rivalry in the South.
The incident you're talking about led to a shootout on Big Thursday, but they never stopped the series.

The reality is from the outside looking in for most everyone in the nation the UGA GT game isn't compelling because yall regularly beat the shite out of them, in conjunction with the fact that GT fans seem to be almost as rare a breed as Vandy fans.
It's just not as nasty or hateful as the other 3. It is what it is.
