Its the horse race tailgate of SEC football. Thus why it seems so "unique" in the college football tailgating scene. Most people don't really care what horse wins in a horse race....and most OM fans and women don't give a shite if OM gets their arse kicked in the football game.
The only thing the Grove beats every other school at in its tailgate is the percentage of fine arse women.
You are going to see more dressed up good looking women at the Grove than any other tailgate. No where else in the world do hot arse coeds congregate for a sporting event at a higher percentage than the Grove.
Most tailgates in the sporting world are 80% men. Not in the Grove.

Why all the hate for tGrove? I thought it was pretty cool and the people were really nice. Our group didn’t know anyone from Ole Miss. We just brought an ice chest with beer (and cups, which was weird but whatever). We got invited by random Ole Miss fans to eat whatever and drink whatever we wanted at their tailgate. Wasn’t as wild as some tailgates but was a lot of fun.

While you might be right overall about the grove having better ratios (never been so I won't argue against that), almost every SEC tailgate is going to have much better ratios than 80%.
Many have said this line before but if you struggle to have a good time at any SEC tailgates, its more of a you problem.

I've been to every SEC tailgate in the SEC-West and have been to Georgia and Tennessee in the SEC-East. I've also been to Ohio State game and numerous NFL stadium tailgates.
I still haven't seen a place with a higher ratio of hot coeds than the Grove.
Athens Georgia is best college town.
LSU has best traditional tailgate.
Arrowhead Stadium has best NFL tailgate.
OM's tailgate is the most beautiful and is the horse race tailgate.

You might be 100% right but you also have a bias even if you don't intent to have one.
Have you been to any SEC tailgates in which you thought the numbers were close to 80% male? I have been to every SECW tailgate except for Ole Miss (which is actually kind of odd) and never felt like close to 80% except for random spots. I do agree that the pro sports can be more like that though.
I have talked to people from different fan bases that have went and all good reviews but some have said the hype was a little too high. I don't take that as a slight though because the hype is at a high level.

Yes...Arkansas, Miss State, Vandy, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas, and Auburn were all sausage fests.
I saw tons of dimes walking around LSU, Georgia, and Alabama tailgates though.

You couldn't get me drunk enough to believe any of the PAC schools have a tailgating scene better than even Vandy. I'm dead serious. Prove it to me. At least Vandy has the visiting fan base showing up in droves and you get a looser crowd. I don't believe for one second the PAC even has legit tailgating.

It’s an overdressed dbag festival. Athens, BR, even fricking Tuscaloosa run circles around Oxford. Girls are hotter in 2 of those also. frick off with that Grove BS. Take your table chandelier and bow tie and shove them up your arse

Honestly I don’t even do the grove anymore. I’d rather watch as much football for the day at my place then go park and walk straight to the stadium.

You sound like a man who enjoys life and has a diverse stock portfolio.
Athens overall has more bars and is a much better place than Oxford, but your tailgate is very meh and boring. Not saying the Grove isn't overrated.....but its a lot more exciting than Georgia's tailgate.
Never once in my life have I ever heard someone rave about Georgia's tailgate. Does it even have a name?

IO have been to both and enjoyed the food, drink, and loose women in attractive dresses, but at both they serve HOT food!
In the South you have fried green tomatoes and grits, both should be hot when you eat them.
