I have found that the best way to deal with William is to simply type "frickLSU®" and move on.

1. Muss - the guy is doing wonderful things with some of the least talent on the roster in the league. When he gets tall athletic players - watch out. If he had Bama’s roster, he would be in the tourney.
He has been able to come in and pull in a top 10 class his first year on the job. That is very impressive, considering the level of recruiting Arkansas has been doing the past 5 years.

Not saying it wont happen, but still a lot can change in recruiting classes for basketball the next few months. Signing day 2 is coming up and it seems like half the top 2021 kids want to reclassify right now
Musslelman has done a good job so far getting quality recruits to want to come play for Arkansas, he was just kind of known as a transfer guy in the past. Not necessarily a recruiter.

Even with some changes, I seriously doubt his class falls below 10. Also depends on what you are looking at

While true, there are some notable recruits that some overlook while he was at Nevada. I think he just knew that doing that (heavy transfers) at Nevada was his best chance overall at success. He has been on record that he wants to always have a few guys coming in and sitting but I wonder with what has happened this year might chance his thought process a little. He is never going to be a coach that wants to play a deep bench though.

Helps that all four of our recruits are from Arkansas, but yeah still gotta do the work to get them to stay home. Still have 3 transfers sitting out this year so he hasn't stopped using the transfer portal a lot either.
Every team has injuries but it sucks thinking how different the season could look right now if we had Isaiah Joe for the last month.

Maybe, maybe not, if he's done taking anyone, it's certainly possible with talent left out there factoring in 2021 reclassifying as well. Still a good class regardless if it's #6 or #11 in the end.
As someone else pointed out I didn't realize all 4 kids are from Arkansas originally, pretty nice how that lined up with this year

I would assume there will be at least one more when its all said and done but I bet he uses the spot for a transfer or juco.

Yeah, one moved out of state to play last year and one moved this year. Even having said that, Mike was about 50/50 on the best 6 players in the state during his tenure so good to see the state being locked down for the most part so far. Thankfully the state produces way more talent in basketball vs football.

Arkansas has seen an uptick in the last 5-10 years in producing good basketball and baseball players. Unfortunately we lag behind just about every other SEC state with football players
A few years ago there were about 3-4 Arkansas kids that were starting on other SEC teams like Florida, Vanderbilt and Kentucky along with the ones who started for us. A little unusual for how small our population is.

The state of Arkansas has produced some good prospects in the past and it will continue to trend up. Central Arkansas Has crazy talent. Mike Anderson was lazy and didn't take advantage of it. He let recruits leave the state and always had an excuse on why he didn't recruit them hard enough.

Basketball talent has always been solid. Now baseball has exploded. Van horn was asked in his early years on why he doesn't have that many Arkansas kids. He said the development was way behind and it made recruiting difficult. Right now the roster currently has 13 Arkansans.
Football is lagging but that is slowly changing with the resurgence of central Arkansas teams in Bryant and North little rock. The area has a new superintendent and that has vowed to make Athletics a priority. They will have a new high school that has combined struggling little rock school districts. Multiple state champion coach Daryl Patton is the new head coach.
Football in central Arkansas will get better and that means more division 1 prospects. Sam Pittman is offering early scholarships in the area, knowing very well the potential it has.
The fast growing area of northwest Arkansas is getting better as well as I believe Fayetteville high is the best job in the state.

Too early to know, but I don't see a bad hire on there, except maybe Stack.
