This based off of if he evens stays at LSU. Which now it looks likely. Highest upside out of any on this list. If he continues to develop it wouldn’t surprise me if he was 1 at the end of the year.

Florida is a good fit for Gilbert because I don't think he's the type who wants to play in-line TE too much. He's really more or less a mismatch WR who you attach to the line of scrimmage some to catch defenses matching him up on linebackers for easy yards.
They'll use him like Pitts and he'll flourish in Gainesville. LSU offensive staff misused him and lost him. He may be "soft" but that was only because they insisted on playing him like a pure TE.

Gilbert is talented but he will fail at UF.
Jones is a mobile QB that is not a passing type guy. Gilbert will block most of the time and barely catch any passes. Wish him the best but UF out of all the schools to go to is a bit weird.

He doesn’t like to block- Well he better get used to it. Jones is not slinging it 40 times a game.
Wants to be more involved- Well Jones doesn’t stand out as a guy that’s gonna throw the ball down the field like Trask.
That’s where I’m coming from.

Judging by Pitts, Gilbert is going to play slot and split end more often than TE or H-B.
