Why is it so dumb? Because I didn't rank your Arky boy #1? Lighten up man!! I like Tyler Wilson a lot! I love the way he takes a hit in the pocket. I'm not dissing him one bit. I'm ranking him #2 in the conference right now.

I just like McCarron a bit better. I love how he played on the big stage. I loved how he made plays when he had to even when his receivers were covered.

Just because someone has a different opinion than your "homer" opinion doesn't mean it's dumb. I don't think you are dumb, I just think you can't think with any objectivity at all, which is what I'm doing here.

It has nothing to do with who you ranked where. In addition, I couldn't care less how some random person ranks some arbitrary thing on an internet forum.

I just think that your reasoning is flawed, and you aren't even considering the scenarios behind those numbers. In addition, I can tell that you didn't watch Arkansas play much, if at all, or else you would have seen Tyler running for his life about 75% of the plays. What is more impressive? To be the best QB in the SEC last season despite having no running game, an extremely inexperienced o-line, and a defense that allowed the other team's defense to get plenty of rest in between taking the field? Or to be a QB that put up decent numbers while having all the time in the world in the pocket, a Heisman-caliber RB in the backfield, and going against defenses that are exhausted because their offense couldn't give them any rest? I pick the former every time, regardless of their name or what team they play for.

Paul is a Mett fan. Is there another school that has coaches support one another the way our three do? Nope, didn't think so.

I think if McCarron and Tyler switched teams, McCarron would put up much worse numbers than Wilson and Wilson would put up even better numbers than he did.

Just checking, do you mean Wilson would put up better numbers if he was playing for Alabama than McCarron did, or better numbers than he put up playing for Arkansas?

Wilson would put up better numbers than McCarron if Wilson was at Alabama last season.

MCcarron would put up worst numbers at Arkansas than Wilson did if McCarron was at Arkansas last season.

Seriously? Connor Shaw didn't even play the whole season. He sat behind Garcia until he was finally kicked out, and still put up similar numbers to McCarron without the great running back and offensive line.

Connor Shaw - 123/188, 65.4%, 1,448 yards, 14 TD, 6 INT

525 yards rushing, 8 TDs

AJ McCarron - 219/328, 66.8%, 2,634 yards, 16 TD, 5 INT

-33 yards rushing, 2 TDs

Murray and Bray blow AJ McCarron out of the water. Hell, I'd even take Connor Shaw over McCarron. Dude is being hyped up WAYYY too much on this board...
