Just saw where you posted that they use IDs for tickets now. Do students still get a discount off general admission?
Back in the day you could even purchase extra student tickets to games that weren't sold out (which was almost all of them during the Barfield era). They rarely checked to see if you were actually a student.

there are systems in place to prevent ticket misconduct -- names are submitted before the season, tickets are issued after showing photo I.D. must be shown, records are kept, etc. It's certainly possible that a "booster" got to Ramsey (a true freshman who's been on campus three weeks) to put his name down on the list before the season and paid him a grand... but given his dismissed lawsuit, awkward demeanor, and improbable circumstances it's pretty easy to see how Auburn fans find his story unbelievable.

I know that AU students use their ID card to enter games...but aren't players given an allotment (paper) to disperse?
