Very true. I look at Texas as underachievers. Finally able to gain a little traction due to NIL.

I don’t mind the confidence but I mean objectively speaking he is wrong.

But they are quickly going to become everybody’s favorite team to blow out

Texas and OU went from the biggest fish in the pond to a much bigger and deeper pond where you have to show up every single week.

Can't wait for Miss State, FL, Arky, etc. to jump up and bite them on an off week.

Tex fans might be dumb but having sark will be a blessing for them. He has a good idea of what life in the sec is like when everyone is gunning for you. Doesn’t mean he will execute but doubtful he takes anyone not named vandy lightly.

We don't play Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, or Tennessee.

And this:

Arkansas - LSU

Now Brent venebles on the other hand is probably who will feel the culture shock. The last 20 years between stoops(best roster in declining big 12) dabo(best roster in weak acc) Oklahoma as hc(best roster in a severely weakened big 12). He will now have the 5th or 6th best roster in the sec(toughest conference)

1. Auburn - because frick em, that’s why.
2. Tennessee - see above.
3. Georgia - won 2 of last 3 national championships and are currently a juggernaut.
4. LSU - historically, one of, if not the toughest game on Bama’s schedule, and their fans are obsessed with Bama.
5. Texas - not on Bama’s schedule, but if they were, this would be their ranking in terms of biggest games.

He has played a couple games against the SEC's best team. Did not seem to have any issues, IIRC.

it doesn't matter - adding the Uterus of Tejas to any of those schedules in any given frickin year won't make the Uterus of Tejas the biggest game on any of those school's schedules -

Missouri would absolutely view Oklahoma as a bigger game than UT-A - and there's not a universe that exists anywhere LSU wouldn't view Alabama as more important than UT-A or the Iron Bowl & Egg Bowl would take a back seat to a game with UT-A -

settled down Bill Boy Bryant - it was a troll to trigger longhorn fans - everyone knows how much Arkansas loathes Austin - how many in a row have the Hogs won in the series now?

Georgia's five most important games of 2024 college football season as Kirby Smart eyes SEC title, CFP berth

#1. AT TEXAS (OCT. 19)

You know that that is some random writer saying that, right? That's not necessarily the way Kirby Smart/Georgia sees it. Just some random writer.

ESPN and some random writer saying something does not mean the teams they face actually feel that way, though.

You had a great year last year. Congrats. You MIGHT even be a top 3 team in the SEC. But that doesn't mean everybody is quaking in their boots over you.

Is he wrong? No current SEC team wants to be first to lose to one of the noobs. If we aren't everyone's biggest game this year we're at least #2.
