Has a hall of fame coach ever self destructed their program more than Dabo and Clemson?

LSU is a good team no doubt about it but that was the worst Clemson has looked in like 20 years. Dabo has destroyed what he built and idk if ive seen anything like it

Being stubborn is what is doing him in. LSU remember Les miles for the same thing

The ACC is trash so they'll probably go .500 but it's not much different than watching Les Miles refuse to enter the 21st century on offense. He's just out of ideas.

Bobby Bowden did it too but he had the excuse of being eleventy billion years old at the time.

Les Miles and Phillip Fulmer are good examples but in my opinion they are different.

The game had evolved and Fulmer and Miles didnt have the technical ability to modernize their in game systems. Dabo has flat out refused to change but it seems out of principle not just technical philosophy

BUT

I’ve seen at least 2 dozen posts since last night just like this one.
Remember how bad Clemson was last year , and LSU won by 7? Maybe , and I know this is a wild thought, but Maybe this years Lsu team may just be that good.

LSU is good. Clemson looked the worst they have looked in 20 years. Both can be true

This clemson team looked like it could go 4-8

I think dabo was great at hiring excellent coordinators and since they have moved on he is now going to the Les miles play book and hiring his friends. It does not/ has not gone well historically

Yes they can and you will get your answers in the coming weeks. Just my opinion but these posts are just as dumb as pre season rankings. Nobody knows at this point.

LSU HAS to be better than last years LSU team. No BK = improvement.

That’s a given.

How much better?

Beating a crap Clemson team doesn’t provide the answer to that.
