I don't respect Oregon.
A great portion of the love for Oregon is toadying up to Nike and Nike Money….Progamatically Oregon is akin to Arkansas or ATM.
When you compare the Big 6 of the SEC to any group of programs you’d like to combine none or more impressive. Alabama alone, that bastards, is more impressive than any single program because they have, at multiple times, been dominant nationally when they also played in a far deeper conference than any “blue blood”. And the icing on the cake is if it weren’t Alabama it’d have been UGA, LSU or Tennessee. No other conference has ever come close.

I will take a different stance.
You need stability with the coaching staff- kne that fosters wins and culture. Today it is exceptionally difficult to build on the sandy foundations of NIL and the associated player movement.
Can’t rely on the players to be home grown. You have got to have an anchor somewhere and that no longer is on the player side so it HAS to come from the coaching side.

This girl needs a midol.
Championship and winning give you clout.
Bama has lost a coach go to lower tier school before but because of probation. Coaches leave for a lot of reasons. If Lane was looking for championships he'd go to LSU, theyve won a few, Ole Miss hasn't. Now, you win one at Ole Miss they name the stadium after you, at LSU they are asking for the next one.

for ole miss having a 60 whatever thousand stadium in a conference with like 8 schools at 95k plus is a factor rightly or wrongly
This is absolutely a moronic point of view and I pray the Lord won’t let you procreate.

Hate to break it to you bro, but size does matter.

What you are asking….the answer is “something ole miss will NEVER accomplish and that is repeat national championships in 10 years or less, facilities that command respect and a program that wins regardless of the coach.

To be TOP tier I think you need to win a few times..have some level of staying power and prove a title wasnt a one off

A big factor is being able to sustain success even through coaching changes (that you didn't want.) Your success can't be too predicated on one coach.
Natties or at least appearances are needed. You also have to show that you're a top destination for top HCs, recruits, and portal prospects.

Because there's a difference between LSU and Alabama fans. For all of your success, your fan base can't really bring themselves to enjoy it. You only focus on the ones that got away. And more often than not, in recent memory, LSU (and Auburn to a lesser extent) have played the spoiler. Until we went divisionless, LSU was your biggest obstacle to reaching Atlanta every year. 2019 sticks in y'alls craw something awful. You can try to deny it all you want, but if we're having an honest discussion here, it tears you up. You have the historical record over us no doubt, but look no further than this board for which team stays in the consciousness of Alabama fans the most. I don't want this to turn into an LSU/Alabama pissing match so I won't respond further.
Maybe a bit of truth in that first part, but I don't think I've ever heard/read any Bama fan complain about '19 in any way, to any degree. LSU had a great team and won it all. Dream year/etc. Not sure where you get that.
But Bama fans sure like to put on an act of "we're winners" when the program doesn't have a great year or loses a game. Never forget someone complaining about the win over TAMU in JM's 2nd year as QB - gave up the most yards by a Bama team (or something) and folks were complaining about the defense. Or the constant "they just didn't want it" crap after any loss.
