As much as I hate to say it, Bama because if Georgia drops one to a weird opponent and Tennessee lucks out and runs the table it’s possible to win the conference.

Do I think it will happen? No. But it’s possible.

Alabama Then Tennessee get a chance to beat Alabama at home.

I would like to see the SEC win the natty so I will root for Bama since Georgia can't win one. It would be a waste putting them in the playoffs.

Georgia.

I usually pull for all East teams over all west teams.

I’m pulling for more of the “Batman-scene-field-collapse” than anything.

It's the same formula and hope that I had with FLorida in the 90's.

COVID

A CV19 outbreak would cancel the game, retain the chance for 2 x SEC tms to remain undefeated until SEC CG, and set stage to 2 x SEC tms in the CFPs.

Plus, CKS could sleep a bit better, a bit longer without fear of Bryce Young walking onto the field in the 3rd qtr. And, CNS preserves his unbeaten streak vs former assistants at least one game longer.

Surprised "covid" outbreak hasn't happened, yet, for those reasons.

Hell, Cousin Eddie figured that out. A loss to aTm and an improving LSU offense this week had him so worried about 2 x conf losses that the team got sick. Now, with a covid cancelation, he is still in control of his position for the SEC CG.

Bama. I've learned to tune them out with all their recent success. Georgia fans, especially as an Auburn fan living in Georgia, have become unbearable.

Deep down I despise bama more, but "1980" is just too damn fun. Hate to see that go.

Cheer up. If we happen to beat Alabama, it doesn't necessarily mean that we will win the National Championship.

I can't really root for either of these teams. At this point in the season, UGA beating Alabama would benefit us more than Alabama winning. I guess I want UGA to win this one.
This is always a tough game to watch.

Bama. I am still hoping Kirby Smart crashes and burns so that we can steal some blue chips back from UGA. We already know who Bama is. I ultimately believe it’s in Auburn’s best interest recruiting wise for Bama to win.

Is Auburn seriously not recruiting kids out of Alabama? This seems like an odd thing to use. I get the reasoning that you don't want us to have the more recent title. But recruiting? I mean, we do recruit a lot of the same kids, but surely you go head to head with Alabama more.

I guess I'll never understand the mentality of throwing up the white flag to a rival.

Reasonable. I mean, with more depth and cutting out mistakes our game would have been closer. I think UT is still 2-3 years away, but you definitely are playing better football than you were the last several years.

fear of Bryce Young

I don’t think anyone fears this guy right now.

Mac Jones is elite.
If he gets hurt, the season may go sideways.

Mac is crucial.
He is a first round, franchise QB.

Because Bama has already ascended to the top of the mountain which makes it nearly impossible to beat Bama in recruiting battles if Bama really wants said player, except for the rare exception where the player grew up an Auburn fan. Georgia hasn’t gotten there yet and we probably recruit the state of Georgia more heavily than we do Alabama.

I’ve said it before and this thread mostly supports my theory:

There’s no such thing as an Auburn fan. There’s just Bama fans who love the tide all year and Bama fans who start saying Roll Tide once Georgia blows out Auburn.

Alabama. It makes more sense strategically for us because of recruiting but the tipping point is really just how insecure and obnoxious a lot of your ranters are And have been for the past few years despite not having anything to show for it. We vol fans joke about what heck we’d unleash if given the opportunity but it’s nothing in comparison to how y’all would be.

And I say that while acknowledging that you have a lot of great posters but good goddamn you’ve got a metric ton of bad ones. If they can’t stop crowing about losing in a playoff they will be unlivable with actual hardware.
