don’t think anyone fears this guy right now

I think you missed the UGA vs a backup UA QB in the 2nd half part of the joke.

No, Young is not ready for prime time at the moment

Because Bama has already ascended to the top of the mountain which makes it nearly impossible to beat Bama in recruiting battles if Bama really wants said player, except for the rare exception where the player grew up an Auburn fan. Georgia hasn’t gotten there yet and we probably recruit the state of Georgia more heavily than we do Alabama.

Maybe this reasoning is why Auburn struggles? Georgia has beaten Alabama out for several highly ranked players that they wanted. Nakobe Dean, for just one example. There are others. And yes, Alabama has beaten us out for recruits, too. but if you give up and raise the white flag you won't ever beat them for recruits.

As bas a s Tennessee has been the last few years even they beat Alabama out for recruits from time to time. T' oto 'oto (Or whatever his name is)

I was at the game where Jalen came in for Tua.
It worked because Jalen had really improved.

The NC game where Tua came in was different. Tua has played some and had practiced a great deal. Tua always looked much better than Bryce Young as a late game clean up QB.

Benefit of a full spring and fall camp and his first tune up late game reps weren't vs a full SEC slate.

Bryce will be very good. Hope he has Tuas skillset with Mac's decision making, but that is a lot to expect of any true fresh. He just needs time and opportunity to make mistakes and gain experience

I guess he gets a redshirt this year regardless.

It takes time.
