Question for the Aubies re: this sports season

This has been a pretty fun year for you guys sports wise - and both runs were a bit unexpected (though both teams had high expectations in the preseason, so it wasn't a total shock).
If you had one sports year left and got to choose, would you pick the 2013 football season for this all around sports years (magical football run vs magical basketball & baseball run)?
Just curious, and I guess maybe you would want to wait to see how the trip to Omaha goes before finalizing an answer.

Not so much in basketball. It was more surprising how disappointing we were in regular season conference play than anything else

I like being more balanced.

Yes, we lost in 2013, so I'll take our first final four and another trip to Omaha.

That was my thought as well - and especially since 2010 was not all that long before.

I'm not trading shite

2013 in football was unbelievable. It's one of those things that in retrospect, is still hard to believe happened.

Same here, the shitty football season seems so long ago after experiencing the Final Four and now Omaha.

This is a good question George, so just overlook the trolls.
I personally have enjoyed having a good amount of success in all 3 sports this school year, but think I'd trade it all for a Football Natty.

This is actually pretty tough. The kick 6 is one of the most iconic college sports plays of all time. That said, beating Kansas, UNC, and UK to make our first final 4, and then making Omaha this year is amazing. The continuous high from winning the SEC tourney into march madness was so awesome.

Same here. Now if we’re talking 2010 football.....

Which is funny, because I'd 100% trade 1 of our 5 natties for a year in which we win the national title in basketball. 2006 me would have laughed at that statement.
Perspective and experience is a helluva thing ain't it?

2018-19 has been a banner year...no trades

Yea, it'd be silly to ask about that. Auburn folks rightfully wouldn't trade that one for anything sports related.

It's just awesome to know we've had a COMPLETE sports year...not just season

I'd trade it for Chuma not getting hurt and us winning the basketball Natty this year.
Football is a dying sport. Basketball is on the rise, it's already #2 globally behind soccer and in 20-30 years when football is dead basketball will be king. It's good to get in on the ground floor of the next king as opposed to riding the last coattail of the dying king.
