It shouldn't count if they didn't finish the season ranked

I don't really think Petrino is realistic. Stricklin is a gay butt.

Darkhorse, Mullen has been calling plays since he took over in starkville. Keonning is a scapegoat. A 'yes man' to Mullen. If you honestly think Mullen doesn't already call plays you're crazy..

No, you got that wrong. He is involved on scripting the first 12-15 plays. He does have the option of over riding a play that comes down. But, Mullen has never stated that he is calling plays.

I don't think so, since I don't think anyone wants to play for Mullen. First half yall weren't bad, but you gave up in the second half. Giving up on the first game of the season is not a good sign of things to come. It seems as if State hasn't improved at all from last season, and its a pretty safe bet that any team with a pulse will be able to defeat MSU this season. Unless some fire and drive can come into this team, you'll be really lucky to make it to a bowl game.

I didn't mean you obviously, just saying that I watched that game after the Riff concert and I wasn't impressed with Vandy. That's what really bugs me about our game, OSU looked like shite. Any legit team would have had a 14 point lead at halftime.

Yeah our D worries me a lot. But State has some big time problems. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some internal conflict of some kind in the program as well.

We looked like we quit in all but the LSU loss last year. I guess maybe Northwestern too if you're being generous. A&M, Bama, and the Egg Bowl were a fricking mess.

your fanbase is prancing around like y'all beat a top 10 team after beating a 7-5 Vandy team.

Honestly, it was the biggest win of the season IMO. We could lose to Bama, LSU, and A&M and still have a spark in us to get 8 wins, which is my personal goal for the season. Vandy would set the tone for the season, and maybe the game I was wanting to win the most. If we beat Vandy, I was thinking we'd go 8-4; if we lost, I was pretty sure we'd go 6-6.

Not enough prayer, too much bulldog lanes.

I just hope the problem is fixed before we turn into 2012 Tennessee

I think you have a legit shot at A&M if you win the turnover battle. That run defense is an abortion.
