Mullen 3-4 over you. We will make the changes needed to keep ourselves higher up than tsun.

You do understand that MSU was ranked higher in the SECW than ole miss.. Right. You were in the bottom 3. What was your place in 2011? Last. With ZERO sec wins. What about 2010? Ouch.. last.. again.

In short...

Still doesn't negate the fact you made up a bullshite stat earlier.

OM has actually been last in the West since MSU has, so..

How does that change the fact that the cellar is y'all's rightful place?

We can just abandon him near the stadium with some rolls of toilet paper.

I've said this before: the only way MSU can be, and ever has been, relevant is if they go back to smashmouth football and physical defense. When Mullen announced in summer of '12 that he was going to let Russell air it out, I knew it was a bad move.

In general you won't be able to recruit as much talent to Starkville as you can Tuscaloosa or Gainesville or Baton Rouge. The idea is to pound the ball, shorten the game, limit possessions, and win a low scoring game. That's exactly what they've done any time they've had success. They can get guys like Pork Chop Womack on campus. I'm not sure if they can get the Aaron Murrays or AJ McCarrons.

If elite players will come to Ole Miss, why not MSU?

good stuff

our best Mullen team was in 2010 when we were running Relf up the gut every other play and playing damn solid defense. we need to get back to that with Dak.

Agreed. Mullen has to have that piece to make the others work in his offense.

I have to ask, who's behind DP?

No, you got that wrong. He is involved on scripting the first 12-15 plays. He does have the option of over riding a play that comes down. But, Mullen has never stated that he is calling plays.

Mullen calls plays. He has since he took over in Starkville. I know you have 'unlimited' connections to the staff because you've been right on point in everything you've said since you joined this site but i'm telling you that DAN MULLEN calls the offensive plays.

Thats not to say that Koenning has no involvement because he does. He sits in the booth and they talk the entire game. Koenning also gives suggestions but DAN MULLEN calls the plays.

Thats why I say that if you fire Koenning, your playcalling isnt going to instantly improve. It wont change at all UNLESS you hire someone like Cam Cameron that demands TOTAL control of the offense. Koenning is a 'Yes man' scapegoat, nothing more

freshman out of Metairie I think. we also need to bench Perkins. He should be a 6-8 carry guy, not fricking 18. Robinson is twice the back he is, unfortunately he's only a sophomore which is a negative in Moffan's eyes.

Never heard of it. My Tulane buds got to Ms. Maes and then to F&Ms at 3.

It's about four or five blocks from F&Ms.

The past two or three times I've been to F&Ms it's been about 5 and the place is still loud and insane
