What can yall tell us about our new transfers?

Zxavian Harris
Dae'Quan Wright

Strengths? Weaknesses? Expectations? Maybe?

75% off the first year.

Thanks in advance.

Both got cut from bad nfl teams so we know for an absolute fact they aren’t nfl quality talent.

Both got injured in camp.
Xav is pushing 400 pounds and probably couldn’t run the field once.
Hope he’s on the field when we go fast.

"Lane Kiffin was a bad coach, it was all Weiss running the offense".

Oh shite they got Weiss too.

"Ummm it was all Golding.

Just routinely getting bitch slapped by LSU. God help you if you lose in September.

They didn’t really want to play for Lane at LSU. Complete coincidence.

You'll be having fast 3 & outs, that's about it.

Dae’Quan Wright was a productive tight end for us last season. He caught some very big passes in big moments (LSU game on 4th down, the go-ahead TD against Miami before our defense blew it, etc). He’s not a super highly skilled guy, hence why he went undrafted and couldn’t make the Browns’ roster, but he can play well within a Kiffin/Weis scheme. Idk what y’all’s TE depth looks like, but I’d imagine that Wright is at least the 2nd best TE on your roster this year.

Harris is a big fricker you throw in the middle of your defense. He’s unfortunately never been an every down player and wasn’t the best DL on our team last year, but he’s a good player that has come a long way since he was a freshman. I’d monitor the foot injury and his health, he’s a really big guy so a foot injury could mean he misses significant time.

Any way you slice it, they’re two good pickups for y’all. Neither is a program changer, but both are good.

Remember that time Ole Miss drew straws for a coach and you ended up with Pete Golding

Lane Kiffin looks like he moisturizes a bunch and uses too much hair gel and also is on a veggie diet.

Pete Golding looks like an overage drunk that hangs out at college bars and stumbled up in life

Drew the short straw

Ole Miss wouldn’t have hired him if they had time for a proper search.

Your bar is he coached at Bama and players like him.

Yeah that will go well

You want players that don't respect their coach? They lose and get fired. Have you ever watched college football?

Ole Miss is currently less than a touchdown favorite against Louisville on a neutral field in Nashville.

For a top 10 team with Pete “Next Saban” Golding with the “top returning QB and RB” in the country should be very concerning.

Hiring a coach off player feels is not a good idea and often ends poorly.

And again, ole miss would not have hired Golding if they were able to run a coaching search.

Ole Miss essentially said next man up to be their coach, that is concerning.
