Just a couple of questions.

1. How do you like it in the SEC?

2. Would you ever consider going back to the Big 12 with no string attach and if Texas gave into your old demands among with other concessions?

3. What is the feeling of playing SEC teams week after week away and at home? Foreign? Weird or pretty exciting?

That's it.

Loveit. No, never under any circumstaces. Exciting felt suprisingly normal after Ga game.

We sucked and have all kinds of lame excuses why. Can't wait for next year and conf bball.

Love it, Hell no/Wouldnt matter as they tried to do that before we left, Weird but really exciting. The thing about the Big 12 was that you would have about 3 big games a year. In the SEC its just about weekly.

More like to look out on the field and see a Florida, Alabama, LSU, Miss, Ole Miss etc etc instead of Baylor, TT,TU, OU etc etc. Like does it hit you like "shite, OCC game!" or more like "shite this is fricking awesome!"

1. Love it.

2. Absolutely not.

3. Hard to say for the long run with Arky and Auburn down.. so maybe it will be tougher in the years to come. But being 9-2 in our first year of the SEC has been an absolute blast.

1. Too epic.

2. Fack that.

3. It's a grind but it makes everyone better. We will see how it pays off according to our bowls.

1. LIke it very much.

2. No, for a lot of reasons. But, there is no doubt the Big12 would be an easier conference to compete in.

3. It's not been as foreign as I thought it would be.

SEC=

Big ?=

SEC is on top of it's game, has the best fans that fill more than 45% of their stadiums, has the best collective front 7 play, and they have each others' backs when needed. Nothing more to ask for, and wouldn't ever go back.

Love but I always have. Even in the Big 12 days I watched A&M then usually whatever SEC games were on. Only watched a few Big 12 matchups that A&M wasn't involved in.

I don't really think we have any "demands". We were searching for conference stability which cannot exist with Texas. Even if they got rid of the LHN that wouldn't change their sense of entitlement which drove off Nebraska.

The other side is, why? With Nebraska gone there are really no teams left with any real history besides OU and Texas, maybe KState but even their history isn't really compelling enough to make you interested in playing them.

On the flip side we are playing Arkansas and LSU whom we have a significant history with (I think that most Aggie would trade our Texas and Baylor/Tech rivalries for LSU and Arkansas in a heart beat)plus we play some of the best names in College Football. Alabam, Florida, Georgia, etc. Even the most insignificant (no offense) SEC football teams have more interest than most mid level Big 12 teams ... in the Big 12 you are stuck playing ISU, Kansas, Baylor, Ok State, and Texas Tech ... and unlike the traditional lower tier SEC teams they are not even interesting destinations. Ames IA or Oxford MS? Waco TX or Nashville TN? Lawrence KS or Lexington KY? And most of the weaker SEC teams are making significant strides Vandy and Ole Miss would compete in the Big 12 and have no problem getting bowl eligible.

Short answer ... no ... the SEC is so much more interesting than the Big 12 (or even the old SWC) ever was.

I can honestly say I have not felt any "weirdness"; I fully expected this week to feel odd because the annual T-Day game is probably the one thing I will miss but to tell you the truth I am so focused on the JFF hype plus all the bowl possibilities this year that it doesn't feel weird at all, maybe it will on Thursday but I am looking forward to getting LSU on this week in the future.

1. Love it.
2. Hell no.
3. Feels like a fit for us. Big XII fans thought we were over-the-top obsessed with football. SEC fans weren't sure that we cared enough (although I think we've dispelled most of those doubts).

1. How do you like it in the SEC?

The SEC feels like home in so many ways. It's everything Aggies hoped for.

2. Would you ever consider going back to the Big 12 with no string attach and if Texas gave into your old demands among with other concessions?

No way. We tried and tried to make it work for decades because in a vacuum a Texas (State) centered conference would be ideal in theory but it just doesn't work. The thread about "Why other conferences don't get it" explains this.

3. What is the feeling of playing SEC teams week after week away and at home? Foreign? Weird or pretty exciting?

Definitely exciting. The teams are so much more interesting and the venues and fans are so much better its hard to describe. Every week feels like a big game with a big atmosphere as opposed to having a couple big games a year. Honestly only Nebraska felt like most SEC games do week in and week out in terms of passionate fans, tradition, and pride.

It has been awesome. All eyes are on the SEC and you can feel it.

Not me. Wanted to go with SEC when Big 12 formed, wanted it a few years ago and was glad we made the decision to do it in 2011. A&M fits in the SEC much better. Texas did give in to our demands... after we left. A&M leaving is what brought texass to the bargaining table with the smaller schools and now there is equal revenue sharing. Ags have moved on to much bigger and brighter things.

The electricity for both home and away games has been remarkable. Different feel altogether. As a 3rd generation Aggie, I have traveled with Ags to Arkansas, LSU, etc... was at the Cotton Bowl vs Auburn & Bo Jackson. The excitement level was always high.

Being a part of the SEC and seeing this excitement level and energy go beyond the top 2 or 3 Universities is really cool. If you aren't in the SEC, you just can't understand it. You might think you do, but you really don't.

Even playing teams outside the SEC.. such as against La Tech... they are even more motivated to play an SEC school.

Every game means something...

Gigem SEC!!

Love it. Would never go back. Have gone to more road games this year than I did in 10 years of the big 12-2-2+2. Like Christmas every weekwend for a real football fan.

Being in the SEC has made me realize how lose-lose playing in the Big XII was. The Big XII is a surprisingly salty football conference, but most of the schools are borderline worthless and embarrassing to lose to. Iowa State is pretty solid, but losing to them is embarrassing. Losing to Baylor unleashes hell on your school (still feel the sting of that '04 loss). Okie Lite was always a pain in the arse.

Beating these teams don't get you prestige like beating Bama, LSU, UGA, Florida, etc. even though they are generally quality opponents. Beating teams in the Big XII gets you zero coverage, while losing to them made your life at work a living hell. Hope this post makes sense
