It goes without saying that Julio was the best blocking wr in the SEC
I agree

Can't say that yet. Gonna be hard to top Hines

He maybe likes contact too much. But for all his injuries, he always played through them, and its not like he's got bad knees or something. He may have had injuries but I don't think its a red flag, like a guy who's had ACL problems or something like that.

How durable is this kid?
Think Greg Oden in cleats.

He takes a lot of unnecessary hits acting like a HB to get 1 extra yard and this resulted in a lot of his nagging injuries in college. He will have to be trained to go down sometimes in the NFL to stay healthy for a 16 game season.

The kid is like Brandon Marshall minus the stabby stuff.

I've always thought of him as a Roy Williams type. Freakish body and speed, but doesn't have that great of hands. I think Julio will be a better player that Williams, but if I had to compare him to an NFL receiver right now, it would be Williams.

quote:No they don't.
Those high end wide receivers like to take plays off if they're not getting the ball.
Or they would not be high end WR's.

His hands are actually pretty damn good. He had a minor case of the dropsies for the first half of the '09 season. Thats about it.

There is a good reason why Shaun Alexander ran out of bounds all the damn time. . .he had a career to consider.

Julio is likely way faster than Colston, but Colston is stronger.
Hell he was on the cusp of being an NFL TE.

Randy Moss and Terrell Owens disagree with you.

I guaran-fricking-tee that PP7 will have a better NFL career than Julio. 1000% lock.

Neither of them were in the Pro Bowl last year, and didn't have an impact all season. No longer high end receivers
