You lost your starting QB and back up.
And a starting WR to USC if I am not mistaken.
Your coach is a D specialst and not an O. First year head coaches struggle with in game scenarios. Kirby did too and still does at times. Venables is no exception.
The O takes a step back guaranteed

Our offense wasn’t up to standards last year. Struggled during multiple games. I think we’ll be a little better than last year. Lebby’s offenses have actually been rated higher than most Riley’s. OU has better talent than Ole Miss. If Dillon stays healthy we’ll be fine.

2022’s offense will not come close to those 2017-2019 teams, and will likely by less potent than the 2020-21 teams as well. Losing 5-star QBs and WRs will do that. That being said, our offense should still be in the top 20, even with our losses there was a lot of offensive talent remaining.
Agree with the first part but I think you forgot how our offense struggled last year. If our offense is worse than that then we are screwed.

Your response for each point was awful.
I assume your emoji’s at each line mean that you can’t rebuttal any of it.
Venables has been an “in the shadows” D coordinator and all of a sudden he is Saban is stupid.
9 wins in regular season max and I will ban bet you. Let’s do it. You in??

Are you mentally challenged or something? OU literally beat the frick out of FL two years ago, and went 2OT with UGA after the defense collapsed. Beat auburn and Tennessee like a drum. The only teams that were considerably better were 2019 LSU and OU had jalen hurts which was far from baker or kyler. Riley is gone; and Venables will own the SEC.

OU recruits at about the 7th best SEC team. Why would we be surprised when you end up being the 7th ranked SEC team?
———————————-
You need to learn math. OU will finish top 5 in recruiting.

Of the last 30 SEC Champions, none of them have recruited as poorly as OU has. Only a Sooner would think that they could magically overcome inferior recruiting and win the conference. Seriously. No one is scared of you winning the conference at all, and all of history is on our side.
——————————-
You do realize that OU will finish top 5 in recruiting this year. This will probably be the new norm. That puts OU up there with bama and georgia. Pay attention.

Winning a weak SEC East and getting absolutely demolished in Atlanta is not coming close to winning the SEC. But you really like that logic don’t you? All those playoff appearances where you took a cupcake schedule to get in, only to get dog walked by a real team… you think you’ve been close to winning something relevant the past 20 years don’t you? Hahahahahahaha.
————————————
Some of you SEC guys move the goalposts constantly. All we hear is how tough the SEC is but now you’re saying half the conference is weak (SEC East). My favorite excuse is “We didn’t want to be there.” Make up your mind.

This isn't BS. Teams on the cusp of a NC game and/or, now, just missing the CFPs is a major blow for focus and motivation. Has been for a long time now. Now, with the opt outs, diminshed regular season, and 3000 bowl games, it is only getting worse.
Bowl games are becoming more of the exhibition game they used to be when NCs were awarded at the end of the regular season.
I don't like it, but it is what it is.

If Aggy out-recruits OU, then why the hell is Aggy so bad?
OU would go 6-6 with Aggy’s schedule the majority of years over the past decade. 7-5 sometimes.

OU has lost three home games and lost to Texas exactly three times since WWII.
OU is 11-2 all time against WVU and have won nine straight.
OU is 28-4 all time against Baylor
OU is 90-19-4 against Oklahoma State and are 8-2 in the last decade.
And although OU doesn't have the series record against Texas they are 16-7 this century.
Dawg fan is expecting a lot from OU's opponents. If it doesn't happen Dawg fan will just revert back to how lousy the Big XII is.
Looks like we have a pro with hard data at his disposal posting on tRant, finally.
I tried to warn that goon, but people who make wagers on arrogance or emotion are easy money.

Jeff Lebby offenses aren’t typically slow.
I won’t be surprised if we drop two or three this season as the guys learn the new defense.

I've seen that game multiple times and there isn't a single second or minute where Bama OR Saban looks like they "didn't want to be there". You guys showed up to put Bob in his place after his comments and got more than you bargained for. You had zero pass rush with your obese DL and Knight had all day to sit back and pick your secondary apart. That's what happened.

The lack of focus manifests from the weeks of preparation before the game. It reflects in the execution on the field. 5 turnovers isn't really Saban football.
Ou won. But, don't make the win more important than it was.

Based on a meaningless game played 8 years ago. Isn't OU 0-3 vs the SEC since haven given up 45+ in the CFPs since.
How will the SEC sleep at night?

I may be in the minority here among OU fans, but I don’t think Alabama really cared about that Sugar Bowl except for one thing; to show a sneak peek of what was to come in Derrick Henry, and sure enough, the rest is history. Alabama at 50 percent was still very competitive with OU at 100 percent, which was frustrating.
