It's a terrible thing at Penn State, PR disaster....But it's not like a coach is going in there and rebuilding from the ground up....

Penn State is a solid program, and there's definitely some work to be done PR-wise, but it's not a "rebuilding job" per se.

Mullen did a great job at MSU reuniting MSU fans against a common enemy which is Ole Miss.

He could do the same with Penn State.

There's a "frick you, reporter scum" smirk in every one of Saban's facial expressions.

Don't see him being good for that PR disaster.

They are gonna hire Hootie. That school could use some comic relief at this juncture, even if the joke is on them.

Uhh I'm not sure you guys should be rooting for that anymore with Hud being a viable coaching candidate

Clearly Saban desperately wants out of Tuscaloosa. The pundits on this board were spot on when they predicted he couldn't win at Alabama and Terry HATES Tuscaloosa and has desperately wanted out since day one. Saban to Penn State. You heard it here first.

I think Mullen is the guy they want, but IMO Mullen is just not a top-tier coach.

I know a lot of people disagree, but I just don't see it. He's not a terrible coach by any stretch, but by no means would I consider him a Top10-20 coach.

Never said I was rooting for it.

but none of that matters when we hire Hud either as a coordinator or HC.

no way they get the situation under control by NSD. they don't have an AD and the current staff will get completely purged. i'd expect they'll have a significant # of players wanting to transfer. whomever gets the job is only going to be a placeholder to weather the storm.

I think Shiano is going to be the guy unless they convince Meyer.
