I remember when Austin was a really cool town. I saw Earl Campbell score 2 touchdowns within 1 minute against Rice.
It’s become an auxiliary city of California …and sucks. I work with a bimbo who just moved there from shitty San Francisco.
Things like SXSW have become commercialized and overrun by woke think tank types. “Keep Austin weird” is an actual thing. When and why did it become weird?
In the golden years it was Dirty’s and El Patios after a Longhorn game. Now its 6th Street covered up with tourists and rioters. There is literally nothing cool about Austin anymore.

It proves true the old adage of "people that come from places that suck, bring some of the suck with them". Austin is full up of yankees, Californians and other transplants.
