Well how about a guess on the attendance today for the championship game? 3K-4K?
Now I get it that not many fans from A&M are going to travel to BHM but Vandy has a small fan base given the success they have had over the 15 years. The drive from Nashville to BHM is short. They should have 7-8K in the stands today cheering on their team. But they won’t because of apathy.
The SEC won’t post attendance numbers this year because the teams that draw the most fans were not there or did not make it to the weekend. They are secretly disappointed when State, OM, LSU, Bama, Auburn (the latter two because of geography) don’t make it or get knocked out early. These programs have loyal fans that support their teams at the SECT.
