re: Probability that Georgia fans storm the field if Georga beats Alabama

It’d be different if Saban was still coach and/or if Alabama was still a powerhouse. So I don’t think the field gets stormed in a win. If Georgia loses then they should hang their heads in shame.

This is an absurd question. Zero chance even if there was a walkoff in 7 OTs.

Last season's loss was embarrassing. A loss at home this season would be awful. You wouldn't see me on this board for a while and would seriously go into hiding.
Goodness.

Thanks for your wisdom, all-knowing Dawg fan!
The more I think about it, if Alabama misses a game-winning bunny field goal as time expires, kind of like the one Tennessee missed, that could be the spark.

This is another funeral game for UGA? Blackout vs Bama? Love the optimism.
Lil Smokey posting about his favorite team UGA as always, you would think he would be smart enough to go hide after his team lost for the 9th year in a row, but his obsession can't let him.

Superior teams don't storm the field.
I don't see it happening. Kirby has that program purring like Eleanor.
I know the Gumps have had Georgia's number, but they've won enough games, in general, the last decade, for it not to shock anyone when/if they win.

How are bama fans feeling about this game?
Hard to say, honestly.
Our secondary is way better than Tennessee's injury-riddled one, but I would not put our offense on the same level. I think we can keep UGA from scoring nearly as much, but not as confident we can outscore them.
I think Ty Simpson is the real deal, but the drops are a concern. UGA's DBs are going to be harder to get open against, and while if the WR has a window I think Ty can hit it but more concerned about them dropping it. His numbers would have been even crazier if two big passes hadn't been dropped that were right in the hands of his receivers.
That said, if the same UGA that had offensive miscues against Austin Peay shows up, I see us winning that one - but I'm not going to just presume we'll get two fumbles recovered like AP did.
The last two games have given me hope that we've turned the corner for a lot of the offensive issues from game 1, and getting some folks back (like Jam Miller) should help the offense, but is it enough? No idea.
I do expect it to be close, regardless of who wins.

no If there is one thing I am 1000000% certain of in life, it's that our team will wear silver britches, red jerseys, and red helmets next weekend.
The Georgia Bulldogs are expected to have a "blackout" game during their Week 5 matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2025, a theme that would involve fans wearing black to Sanford Stadium and potentially the team wearing black jerseys, though no official confirmation has been made regarding the jerseys. The idea for a blackout has been circulating on social media among fans, with some recalling the unfortunate loss to Alabama in 2008 during a previous blackout game as a potential curse

It would be absolutely stupid, but students do stupid things.

I think it’s clear that the Dawgs have been the preemptive threat of CFB for the last five years. Two natties will do that for anyone. The Bama monkey on their back is theirs to carry for as long as they must. Once Saban was sayonara, the league was up for grabs and Kirby filled that vacuum. OSU is probably in the top three over the last five years. Who would be two? Michigan? The cheating bastards? Texas? Clemson is on the decline. Bama is on the decline. Maybe OSU is second behind the Dawgs
