The obvious moves to create the best possible rivalry weekend to end the regular season:

Alabama-Auburn
LSU-A&M
OM-MSU
Arkansas-Mizzou
UT-Vandy
UF-FSU
UGA-GA Tech
SC-Clemson
UK-Louisville

I have a few questions about this list.

1. I thought UK & UL traditionally play at the beginning of the season...do they not?

2. I thought UT's last game has traditionally been UK, not Vandy...is that not so?

3. I thought LSU didn't believe in rivals...no?

Don't blame you. Arkansas' little brother (A&M) would be a much easier win than Arkansas. Same reason LSU wants A&M instead of Arkansas on Thanksgiving weekend.

is this thread about LSU?

He tried to make it about LSU like we give an eff if Arkansas is our football rival. Texas A&M is now more of a rival than Arkansas ever was.

Keep the game in War Memorial. I would much rather play in that HS Stadium than Razorback Stadium.

None of this explains us beating your arse in "Death Valley", its just a lot of bitching about WMS, which most Arkansas fans also hate

I want them because they are the one team we have a (albeit short) history with.

Yes to the first two but both would be positive changes to fit a final rivalry week theme. you basically flip-flop the last two games for Tennessee.

As for 3, LSU has not had a natural "archrival" but Texas A&M is an old rival who makes sense in this scenario.

Bielema is smarter than I thought. You always want to beat your rival. Missouri is one of the few teams that Arkansas will actually have a chance to beat with any consistentcy going forward. Smart move to try and force that rivalry instead of, say, LSU or A&M.

yeah, back in teh late 50s and early 60s it was Ole Miss. when Tulane was in the SEC they were LSU's rival

A&M and LSU make sense for rivalry weekend... although I think it might be even better if they played every year as each other's SEC opener

Texas vs A&M would be better for the Aggies but we know that isn't happening again for a while, if ever. This lineup is the most logical.

It is never happening again. LSU vs. A&M on thanksgiving weekend will be epic.
