You do realize that neither of us will be playing in the game on January 9th? If Trent and the HB can get along why can't the rest of us?

Speakng of under-praised: IMO the MVP of the Tiger offense is Lonergan at center (and I really don't think it's close). Without him anchoring the middle, the bread and butter of the LSU offense is nowhere near as effective. The drop off to Hebert is huge (especially in a match-up with Josh Chapman). I think he is the one player on offense the Tigers would have the most trouble replacing. Kid's a stud.

yes.

But, some LSU fan will be along to insult you for it, curse Saban because of it, and remind you that the Bear is dead.

Lonergan's a stud, but he missed 2 1/2 games in the middle of the year and the team didnt skip a beat. I am glad that he was in there for Bama though that's for sure.

One thing i've enjoyed about this team is they established their identity in the Oregon game as a power running team and havent strayed from it.

I knew there was some sort of reason as to why a Bama fan would post something positive about LSU
I was just noticing the same thing!

What exactly do you want us to say?

"Hey look everyone. Players from LSU, Alabama, and Georgia are confirming what we've been bitching about all season. Our defense is full of pussies."

I wouldn't worry about it. Chizik has taken over the DC role. You will be fine.

Those games he missed, did y'all play anyone with big, physical DLines? I think y'all managed without him, but 11/5/11 would've been a much tougher proposition if he hadn't come back. What he gives y'all in talent and toughness in the middle of your OL allows your 4-headed rotation at RB to be so deadly (and, by extension, lets Randle get much more favorable matchups outside & deep).

I like Vlachos as our C, but if there was one position player I could cherry pick off of LSU it would be Lonergan. (Although, if you put a gun to my head and forced me to take Claiborne I damn sure wouldn't argue)

We have two FB's. Three if we want to use Hilliard that way.
