Finebaum called Arkansas a premier basketball program. Nice to hear something good about us from the guy.

Al and coonass isn't going to like this...

We are, the rest of the country sees us as such, there is a reason why there has been no "outrage" on ESPN over Pel's firing compared to firing a mediocre football coach. It is all about perception...

Tubby is the backup plan. He's just the only coach available to talk to right now.

Buzz Williams = Tommy Bowden

Tubby Smith = Tommy Tubberville

We are a Grobesque smoke screen away from a hire.

I would be awfully nervous if I was a NBA owner right about now...

If we hire Larry Drew, Atlanta will hate us from now until it burns again in the second civil war.

He wins

Is the biggest complaint about Tubby from Kentucky fans his style of play? Lack of recruiting?

Most hog fans just want to win again. I couldn't care less if we average 60 ppg as long as we are winning games on a consistent basis. And his recruiting class this season doesn't look bad at all (4 star and a 3 star per Scout).

There are bigger names out there, but I wouldn't be disappointed at all with Tubby.

Sorry left the computer for a couple of hours to work out and eat. Wasn't sure if there was any new news about the ARKY job.

Why did that newspaper in Ft. Worth leak a story about Tubby?

If I was the Arkansas AD I would interview multiple candidates first before jumping the gun and hired Tubby without seeing if other coaches might would be a better fit for the program.

Back story here...

BCG went to TCU. Roomed with Greg Williams (The Hammer) who was and still is one of BCG's besties. Greggo was fired from the best radio station on the planet a few years ago, 1310 The Ticket. Drugs. They're both addicts.

Greggo works for CBS Radio now. 105.3 The Fan, Dallas LINK

Not hard to get a FWT writer to write what either of these guys tell them. Not a conspiracy just info re: the FWT and easy access to them.

I thought no coaches would ever talk to us because they have jobs and contracts.

Nobody would commit career suicide by talking to another school while they are currently under contract.
