No way Auburn is #7. Too many questions regarding the O line and a completely unproven backfield. Defense will be salty, but too many questions on the other side of the ball. Throw in special teams although we have Legatron 2.0 he is unproven as well.

will be shocked if any of these teams have less than 4 losses at seasons end.

We exposed KB last year in the semi because we had the D to do so. TAM--maybe, prolly not, GT--No way, big talent gap, FSU--maybe, they'll get better under WT, BC--maybe, a lot returning and trap game that dabo seems to lose once a year, USC--slight chance cause y'all are due and have JB. But, three reasons why USC will lose and prolly lose big---1st--talent gap, 2nd--@ Clemson, 3rd--TL will prolly be the starting qb and dabo will send boom a message. I can see 10-2 but 7-5 is blind hope.

For reference, the pre-season FPI last year 20-25:

LINK

20. Tennessee - finished 4-8, unranked
21. Oregon - finished 7-6, unranked
22. NC State - finished 9-4, #23 [Damn close]
23. UCLA - finished 6-7, unranked
24. Texas - finished 7-6, unranked
25. Washington State - finished 9-4, unranked [Close here still]

So FPI badly missed on 4 of these 6

So is 10-2.

FSU is the only maybe on the regular season schedule, and that's only because it't at their place.

Don't be like my man Ace and confuse wishes with reality. Clemson will be very good this year. Next year is when USCe might have a chance.

am I missing something? why the hype on Notre Dame?

im assuming its because of their schedule which is

Home
Michigan
Ball State
Vandy
Stanford
Pitt
Navy
FSU
Syracuse

Road
@ Virginia Tech
@ Wake Forest
@ Northwestern
@ USC

that said think they lose to Michigan to open the season and lose atleast one on the road no way i'd have them at #5

Maybe, but dabo seems to lose 1 that he shouldn't. This year might be BC like it's been Pitt and the orange in the past. My thoughts are 10-2 at worst...but prolly 11-1 and back to the playoff again where you'll get spanked by us again.

Me neither...the question might be answered...but I have to see how OL and RB work out. D is going to keep us in a lot of games though.

Defintiely has a chance to be a top 3-5 team if the Oline comes through.

I typically get into it with a lot of Auburn posters, but there is one point they make that I whole heartedly agree with. Their running game is always good. The only real question mark I see is their OLine, and if it comes through, they are easily a top 5-7 team and maybe higher.
