Just out of curiosity who is next in line at RB for LSU, that way we will know your next screen name Buga/Sorant

La Tech averaged 515 yards on offense last year and had the #2 passing offense. MSU held them to almost 200 yards less than their average.

We have a couple of backs on roster right now. Clyde edwards-helaire, nick brossete, and lanard fournette (Leonards brother, but isn't as good as his brother). We will sign a couple of studs this class too. We have always and will always have runningbacks lol. We recruit well across the board, runningback is no different. It's LSU. Hell, our starting mlb devin white was the 6th best rb in the 2016 class, we could put him in the backfield if we had to and he's a beast with the ball. Our starting mlb is a way better rb than any on states team lol.

Ok sure. Let's put this in perspective. Your best team in school history beat our worst team since the late 90s by 5 points. We had a chance to win it on the last play of the game too, coming back from 24 points down in the 4th against you, lol.
Ok to be fair here, this is a dumb comment. MSU did dominate that entire game until the last minutes. Mullen tried sitting on a huge lead and the defense played a very soft prevent defense late instead of doing what gave you problems plus our offense got overly conservative. That gave you some cheap late points, but the previous 55 minutes were all Msu and you know it.

So what? I'm supposed to be impressed by that? La Tech wouldn't have a prayer against LSU. BYU would whip that arse much less LSU.
This 2017 squad is NOT the 2014 squad on either side. Dak was a great QB, Fitzy isn't on his level, not even close. We also didn't have Orgeron, Aranda, or Canada in 2014. Say what you want about O but he brings a toughness to this team which we didn't have before. This team listens to him and responds to him.
Y'all may have a good drive or two but it will NOT be consistent enough to beat LSU. We aren't (1) dimensional this year. We can throw it short, medium, or long. Etling can throw it to the sideline, down the middle or in the backfield accurately, he's shown that this year. Guice is a tough back that hasn't really been asked to do a whole lot so he's ready to explode.
Our WRs went off in the previous game and even though it was an FCS team there won't be many DBs who can match up with our WRs this year if any. All they needed was some confidence and I suspect after this game they will have much more confidence. Canada will call a great game which has been missing from LSU for a while now. We beat up on teams when they knew what was coming now they won't know so what do you think will happen? We'll somehow be worse on offense?
I'm actually looking forward to how he calls this game, it should be interesting, and creative. We haven't shown a damn thing on offense yet, just basically running the same stuff we have been for years here, with a little dressing. That will change this week IMO. Arden Key is back and we have a top 5 defense without him, that should improve our defense some. I'm excited to see how this plays out. My guess is 34-16 LSU. I think LSU wins STs battle, TO battle, and plays tough defense while doing enough on offense to win the game. If y'all can hold us to a couple of FGs its 34 if not it could be 42. I don't see y'all scoring much against LSU. I just don't see it. 34-42 for LSU and between 10 and 16 for State.
Now don't get me wrong LSU will have to play a very disciplined game for us to look this good. But we do have the horses this year to beat anyone. They simply have to play a more sound football game. Don't commit penalties, don't turn the ball over, and call an aggressive type of game on offense, defense, and STs. If we do that we win fairly easily. If we don't do any of that then State has a shot. If it's an ugly game from LSU then I can see a 17-14 drag out battle. I just wouldn't count on LSU playing its worst game of the season so for.

You must be around 13. So much fail in your posts in this thread. I'm sorry for not recognizing it sooner. I wont argue with a kid. Carry on.

Isn't GuystheGreatt the OlMiss student who's a diehard LSU fan? I forget his name but it has to be him, acting dumb. Nobody with a room temperature IQ misspells "orca"

No troll here. It's very possibly true. He was definitely rated alot higher than any rb state has on its roster coming out of high school and had bigtime offers to go play rb pretty much wherever he wanted. He started here as a rb but we moved him to lb bc of team needs and he excelled there last year as a tfresh. Didn't hurt that we already had fournette and Guice at rb either. Get that stick outta your arse.
