Well I gave you a chance to research & had you linked it there would be 1 less Sooner on your board. Bama did lead OU by 1.5 passing yards per game and 3rd down efficiency. Not scoring or rushing.

All I expect when you post an opinion (better is a key word) is back it up with facts. The real facts come next Saturday for both of us.

Contrary to popular opinion, I do have a life outside of football, and just got back on to see this.

It did not matter if I researched it or not (actually someone did and posted it), the fact is that there were stats that disproved your statement, and you should honor your word.

That you do not is something I have come to find out about OU fans, they do not honor their word. I made a posting bet (no posting for 6 months) a few years ago with a Sooner on another board. He lost but never honored his word.

Your high the only close team to Alabama is Georgia everyone else is about to feel like they are a high school team compared to those two schools.

45-38 with a healthy Tua. If tua isn’t 100% then I go 45-41 OU. If tua doesn’t play at all then I see it 45-34 ou.

Alabama's running game will control the clock and score every time Alabama has the ball. OU just will not be able to stop it (and Alabama has DEPTH at RB)

OU is very confident, i know a few of their fans and they already have tickets to San Fran.

Send me their address, they will be selling them by halftime.

Bama is the best team hands down , and OU will be beaten pretty badly. No comprassion to big-12 to SEC Football.

Yet you are winning the sec with the same style of play, the other teams in your conference just don’t have the offense to trade back and forth. That day is coming in the SEC. bama looks identical to early 2000s Oklahoma teams in conference. It will take the SEC a couple years to build those offenses but Bama, Mizzou, and ole miss are already 90% of the way there. Kiss your statistically good defenses goodbye within the next 5 years. Other programs will start recruiting the smaller faster Defensive players needed to stop teams like Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio state etc... and the rest will be history. The NFL is headed the same way.

Actually on the NFL game last nigh, the announcers said the exact opposite was starting to happen in the NFL.

There have been high powered offenses in the SEC, Florida comes to mind, but even they realized to win titles you have to play defense (and they were very good at defense)
No team with offense only has won the NC, every one of them had a good D to go with it.

I know I predicted a blowout, but OU plays big in big games.
They deserve some respect for that, so I'm going to revise my score.

OU keeps it within 1 td for 3 quarters. Bama pulls away in the 4th and finishes 61-44.

What I don’t get is last years UGA team was much better than this years and OU was one play from beating them

This years OU team is much better than last years and most people on here don’t think they can stay within 21?

It’s the best offense I’ve ever seen and Kyler is a freak show. There are going to be lots of people shocked come Saturday

We have one of the greatest offensive minds in college football ever in Lincoln Riley

That’s a hell of a claim for a coach in a conference known for playing absolutely no defense

The UGA team at the end of this year isn't much worse than last year. There was a huge difference between the teams at the beginning of the year, but that gap closed.

The OU team from last year was a bit better defensively and a wash offensively.

Oklahoma 31 Alabama 56

Texas 17 Georgia 45

Maybe that'll make the committee think twice about putting shite Big12 teams in next year.

And Bama is right behind them in offense, and not by much.

The difference? One team has a top ten defense. The other isn't even in the top 100.

That matters.

Yes, but against who?

Its much harder to field a top ten defense in the Big 12.

Just in the past 2 years, for example, Big 12 defenses had to limit Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield. Mahomes is about 10-3 in the NFL and Baker has led a winless team to 7 wins in his first season.

Sometimes you have to throw stats out the window.

So having a good offense means you can't play defense. That's the rule. Really? UGA put up plenty of points on OU last year. Wanna bet they rush for well over 300 yards on Texas? Doesn't stop them from fielding a defense.

And that same UGA defense got over 500 yards put on them and Riley let wayyyy off the gas in the 3rd Q and you ALL know it. Fact is offenses like Bama and OU only need a very average defense to beat anybody. OU is built for shootouts, teams like UGA are not, and that’s why you lost to Alabama this year.

Last year's UGA was not better, that is simply false, and OU isn't much better than last year, they are worse, the offense is better but the defense is bad, very very bad. Oklahoma had a shootout with every semi good team they have played all year including Army, Bama will score alot against a very bad D, Oklahoma will have to be perfect and lucky to keep up against Bama's D.
