You're insane if you think Bama only has a good D because of the SEC, the talent of players and coaching for the Bama Defense is far above that of Oklahoma. Take Bama's Defense in the B12 and they would be the top D and the team that had them would be among the top teams if not the top(in the B12). Imagine if Oklahoma had Alabama's Defense, you would be undefeated and wouldn't have been in a single shootout.

OU's problem is that your defense can not help you against Alabama
I asked a question and never got an answer. What is the record for an opposing team rushing against OU? Take that and double it in this game.

Yes they would, I can make the same argument as you by saying the Offensive numbers wouldn't be as good if the Big 12 had better defenses. I've watched nearly every game that OU played in this year, they are great and they score but I also see BAD tackling and terrible discipline on the opposing side, things that aren't caused by the offense but by bad coaching and overall lack of talent.

Buddy, half of the Big 12 ranks outside the top 70 nationally in scoring. The average Big 12 scoring offense ranks 56th. I don’t know what fantasy world you live in, but OU props up that conference way more than Bama does the SEC.

He didn't let off the gas, that doesn't even make since , he was being shut down in the second half because UGA made adjustments, you know, because they have a defense, stop making excuses, your offense isn't unstoppable.

Miss St, Bama, UK, and UGA were top 4 in scoring and total defense in the SEC. Mizzou and Ole Miss went 0-5 combined and averaged 13 points.
But you’re right...that one out of five was ALMOST a shootout but ended up being a 14 point home loss.

OU's offense scored 7 points in the second half of the Rose Bowl. Shut out in the 4th. That's not just play calling, that's getting out manned. They had a Heisman winning QB and were getting bitched.

Thanks. We are. What you or anyone else does in the SEC is irrelevant to us. Always has been until we play one another. So yea, we are thrilled with 'our' results this year and will , again, make for a great off season for 'us' regardless of the game outcome.
