Wow it is February! I don’t live for downing another program like so many on these boards. Ole Miss is good to go! LSU is good to go! Gonna be fun

Because I have some time on my hands, I will respond to this foolishness

Clemson - LSU has the superior roster and coaching. Game at LSU

Louisiana Tech

Ole Miss - LSU has the superior roster. People aren't talking about this but Kiffin vs Golding? Kiffin all day every day. JDB vs LSU Baker? Advantage Baker. Game in Oxford helps to even things out a bit but, LSU on paper is a better team, all things considered. OM takes a major step backward on offense, even with Trinidad

Texas A&M - Essentially equal rosters. LSU with a slight coaching advantage. Home field advantage

McNeese

Kentucky

Mississippi State

Auburn

Alabama - Essentially equal rosters. Coaching is a toss up. KD has won some big games and had some clunkers. Kiffin with some clunkers too. LSU home game for slight advantage

Texas - same as Bama.

Tennessee - LSU with the superior roster and definitely superior coaching. Road game for LSU keeps the game closer than it should be but this will be LSU's 4th toughest game.

Arkansas

That's a floor of 9 wins with 3 toss ups, all LSU home games.

Auburn's roster is a mess. HC has never been a HC in the SEC. LSU has every advantage except for playing on the road, which will no doubt play a factor in the game.

What positions does Auburn have a clear advantage over LSU?

Durkin is solid, no doubt. Kiffin put 35 on Kirby in Athens with absolutely no help from Golding. On paper, LSU has the advantage there.

Golesh, etc vs Baker? At BEST, a wash but let's not act like USF lit up the scoreboard against defenses not as good as LSUs

On paper this is a comfortable win for LSU. And that's not an indictment of Golesh. He just needs time to build his staff and roster. He's behind LSU in that regard.

Id say Qb, RB, LB, Corner and OL. OL especially,. LSU was last in the SEC in rushing last year. Last.

Based on what? Ole Miss putting up points last year. Has absolutely zero to do with LSU's ability to move the football.

He beat Florida with a less talented roster.

Only in your head. LSU is in year 1 of a completely new offensive system, going on the road in JHS with a Qb that lost to MISS STATE! Might want to temper expectations there bud

eta: In that game, Leavitt completed 10 of 22 passes for 82 yards with two interceptions,

Yes. He's good. Elite? Against Fla and Miami he was not and LSUs D is better.

You are delusional.

First, the QBs don't play each other. Second, in no world is Brown better than Leavitt. Auburn does not have a better O line, DBs. Did you follow recruiting at all?

Auburn passing vs LSU pass d - big advantage LSU, both coaching and roster.

Auburn run vs LSU front 7 - big advantage LSU.

LSU passing vs Auburn pass d - BIG advantage LSU. And auburn's corners are nowhere near as good as LSUs group, BTW.

LSU run vs Auburn front 7 - who knows but with Kiffin, he absolutely gets the benefit of the doubt.

LSU was last in the SEC in rushing last year.
You might not be aware of this but, this is 2026. Not 2025 and LSU upgraded all across the line. Did you keep up with recruiting at all?

And LSU may have been last in rushing but LSU was a significantly better team than Auburn. The one bad area just got upgraded to basically the best coaching staff in America

quote:

Has absolutely zero to do with LSU's ability to move the football
Are you dense? The coaches who were responsible for that now have a roster of upgraded talent and a d that is light years better.

quote:

He beat Florida with a less talented roster
That florida team sucked SUPER HARD

quote:

Only in your head
I'm giving you all the factual reasons why. Auburn is not even ranked preseason which tells you what everyone knows. Golesh might turn out to be great eventually but there's no way there won't be some speedbumps. First, he would need to upgrade the roster significantly. LSU, UGA, Tex, Aggies, Tenn, Bama all have significantly better talent at every o vs d position group battle.

quote:

LSU is in year 1 of a completely new offensive system
Yeah, this isn't 5 years ago. First, Kiffin will have had plenty of time to work on the offense by the Auburn game. Second, Kiffin has Baker to help LSU stay in games while kinks get worked out.

quote:

a Qb that lost to MISS STATE
Break down ASU 2025 roster\coaching vs 2026 LSU roster/coaching.

quote:

Might want to temper expectations there bud
This doesn't mean what you think it does

You are not being objective about this at all. This game is almost a layup for LSU. The only thing Auburn has going for them in this game is home field advantage. LSU will be superior in every way

LSU had the #1 ranked portal class last season too. $20-22 million worth.

Rode it to 7-6.

Have you even looked at the stats?? Brown was the 6th highest rated Qb in the NATION last year. Leavit didnt even crack the top 100

this is the fan delusion i come here to read. LSU ranked last in rushing against Auburn's stout rush defense and your coonass gives Kiffin the benefit of the doubt

Look kid, LSU may be good next year, but acting like LSU is some elevated program with far superior talent is pathetically homerish on your part.

touting Ole Miss's success as proof of LSU's is beyond pathetic. You are literally dick riding Ole Miss's production on offense

Lane had the best portal class in 2024 and managed to lose 3 games with it...including a home loss to Kentucky who only won 1 SEC game that season......and started a 5th string WR at RB against Florida while sitting an NFL caliber RB simply because of his ego .
Let's all guess the biggest LSU fan melt....
1) Lane comes to Oxford on Sept 19th and gets run out of the stadium
2) Lane loses a winnable game because of his 4th down BS
3) A multi millon dollar player breaks an ankle dunking on the sideline due to Lane's dumbass basketball goal on the sideline

What coach hasn't pissed away a talented roster ? Not even Saban can be named. He had the most talented roster every year.
You still mad though.

hardly....I was over Kiffin after the Auburn fisco in 2022. When Bama, Texas, etc open up, you'll experience it first hand....it will obviously effect your season and he'll do absolutely nothing to put a stop to it....all while tweeting like a 12 year old girl
