My Prediction, for what it's worth:

vs. Washington State--WIN
vs. Arkansas State WIN
vs. Mississippi State LOSS (Is, IMO, their biggest game of the season.)
at LSU LOSS
vs. Ole Miss Rebels LOSS (However, if they beat State, could have momentum and this could be a W)
vs. Western Carolina WIN
at Texas A&M LOSS
vs. Florida Atlantic WIN
at Arkansas WIN
at Tennessee WIN
vs. Georgia LOSS
vs. Alabama LOSS

Final Record: 6-6, BBVA Compass Bowl.

Best case Scenario: 8-4, assuming they win both against the Mississippi schools, and take games at Arkansas and Tennessee. Offense surprises some, and defense plays to potential to secure an Outback or Chick-Fil-A bowl appearance.

Worst Case: 4-6. They go winless in the SEC after getting bounced by State and Ole Miss early, focus shifts to evaluating for next year. Defense keeps them in games, but offense sputters while troubles under center plague any attempt to score consistently.

If they lose to Washington State it's gonna be a long year for them, I personally think Auburn will win that game by around 10.

The Miss St game will be important too, If Auburn wins that game I think they go 6 and 6.

If they lose to Miss State I think they go 5 and 7.

I think they go 5 and 7 with losses to

Miss State
LSU
TAMU
Arky
Ole Miss
Georgia
Alabama

Arky is of course also a swing games that Auburn could win, so it wouldn't surprise me if they go 7 and 5.

I think that Malzahn is a good coach and that AU will be much better in 2014 than they will be this year. The lack of player development by Chiz and his staff will be hard for Malzahn to overcome this season imo.

I saw this same exact thread before the 2010 season, just sayin'.. It's dumb to think you know what kind of team Malzahn will field with nothing to go off of.

In 2010 you had a lot coming back from a team that went 8-5 and were going into year two with a staff. Now you're coming off a 3-9 season with lots of holes in the roster and a new staff with some old faces. Not exactly the same scenario.

There's a lot coming back this year - strong point being the o-line. I didn't say it was the same scenario, just pointing out the asinine nature of this thread considering most stated we'd be lucky to hit .500 before the 2010 season (this same thread) - and transfer quarterbacks don't work in the SEC.

NEAR CERTAIN WINS
Western Carolina
Florida Atlantic

MORE LIKELY THAN NOT WINS
Washington State
Arkansas State

50/50 GAMES
MSU
Ole Miss
Arky
UT

MORE LIKELY THAN NOT LOSSES
LSU
aTm
UGA
Bama

6-6 most likely with a bowl win to go 7-6.

LSU-Loss
UGA-Loss
UA-Loss

This will be the case for a while.
Unless AU finds qb there are few sure Wins.

I don't even know who started the lsu you game last year, and we could have won that one. So that will not be the case for a while.

LSU isn't on the same level as the other two teams you listed.

Did you watch last year's game? I wouldn't feel too great as an LSU fan after that debacle.

6-6 IMO. WSU, ASU, Western Carolina, FAU, Arkansas and Tennessee are wins. Possibly 7-5 if they take MSU or upset Ole Miss.

Auburn won't even get close to beating Arkansas this year, I see us winning by at least 14.
