WSU, 7 starters returning on Offense, 8 Defense. They should be better.

Auburn vs WSU is the game for me on the first Saturday. Oregon plays Nicholls State, so the Pac - 12 North game to watch will be WSU vs Auburn because I refuse to watch UW vs Boise State.

08/31/13 vs. Washington State Auburn (W)

If Leach was in year 2 this could be trouble for Auburn and what may be a porous secondary. But it's not.

09/07/13 vs. Arkansas State Auburn (W)

09/14/13 vs. Mississippi State Auburn (W)

I really think MSU tanks this year.

09/21/13 at LSU Baton Rouge, La. (L)

10/05/13 vs. Ole Miss Auburn (L)

I don't really know what to think about Ole Miss, they seemed to be heading in the right direction last year, but there's something about Freeze that makes me think he'll ultimately fail. Just not this game.

10/12/13 vs. Western Carolina (HC) Auburn (W)

10/19/13 at Texas A&M College Station, Texas (L)

10/26/13 vs. Florida Atlantic Auburn T (W)

11/02/13 at Arkansas Fayetteville, Ark. (TU)

The Hogs routed Auburn last year, and was lead by a dimwit. Anything that could be said about Auburn at this point could be said of Arkansas

With that said, Gus does have players that are more suited to his style of play than does 2B's. I do suspect that the Hogs will go air more than what 2B's would normally like simply because that's what kind of personnel he has at the moment.

Basically, I have no f'n idea how this game will play out.

11/09/13 at Tennessee Knoxville, Tenn. (W)

No real reason other than I think Gus is a better coach than Jones.

11/16/13 vs. Georgia Auburn (L)

11/30/13 vs. Alabama Auburn (L)

So, 6-6, 7-5 type season

I think everyone knows that would be an upset. However, it's a first game against a decent opponent.

oh wow, that is good stuff man.

shite, even the South Alabama Jags almost beat Arky State last year.

quote:

Lot's of reasons to like Arky State. ASU was way better offense vs. defense and vise versa than Auburn last year. And ASU's defense saw Malzahn's HUNH every day in practice last year.

keep spinning the wheel there chief...

You said if Leach were in year 2 and he is. Then you go on to state that the secondary isn't porous, which I think you're referring to Auburn. Anyway, it was awkward.

Well frick, I thought this was his first year.

Read it again. I was implying that it was probably going to be porous again.

This is actually what was said by Leach. He is leaving off a preseason all pac - 12 linemen when he said that. Sure he is putting his cards out their for everyone to see.
I'm not sure why you keep trying to disregard WSU's OLine problems.

They were the worst line in D1 last year, surrendering 57 sacks in just 12 games. The only other team that was near that bad was 1-11 Colorado which beat WSU for their only win of the season.

They also had the worst rushing offense in the country gaining a paltry 1.38 yards per carry. Their 349 yards rushing was over 100 yards less than the next worse team (Tulane - 475).

Your opinion is completely worthless after having said this. Ask them about the quarterback position.

Well Brandon Allen is a 4 star and a state champ. Could have been a 5 star but he committed to Arkansas really early because his dad works here.

I never said the line is good. It just won't be 4 freshmen or former walkons. That was coach talk to light a fire under the schollie guys. They will be better.

on the season?... wow. I know the sack yardage comes out of their rush total, but jeez... that's absolutely terrible.

If the average sack is a 7 yard loss, that is only 399 yards. That is still less than 800 yards for the season if they had no sacks and got back to the LOS.

They just dont or cant run.

What is the level of skill your coach beleives you have if this is his threat?

Also, why would he need to do this through the media?

These guys sound like world beaters.
