Mightily disagree there.

He didn't play here or have UGA ties prior to 2001 but that man loved the shite out of UGA and it was obvious to anyone who met him. He never won the biggest prize but that has nothing to do with his love and admiration for the school.

11-1, think the dawgs can and may beat both UT & OLE MISS, chose OM as a loss because its on the road. It might be reversed or dawgs loose or win both. no worse than 10-2.

Gimme dat kool-aid. It smells delicious.

Yeah and we've played twice since then. Those happened to be Auburn's two worst seasons this century and Vanderbilt's two best. Nothing more than scheduling luck for them.

The notion that they can beat us year in and year out when it's only happened twice since the Korean War is comical.

@ Vanderbilt - Win
@ Miss. State - Win
East Carolina - Win
@ Kentucky - Win
Texas A&M - Loss
Georgia - Loss
UMass - Win
Tennessee - Loss
Missouri - Win
@ Florida - Loss
Western Carolina - Win
@ Clemson - Loss

7-5 or 6-6, could easily see the MSU game as a loss too.

We are absolutely loaded.

I think Florida will go 9-3 and still win the east (this also is assuming we find a good QB in Del Rio or Franks)

9/3 - UMass W
9/10 - Kentucky W
9/17 - North Texas W
9/24 - @ Tennessee L
10/1 - @ Vanderbilt W
10/8 - LSU W
10/15 - Missouri W
10/29 - Georgia W
11/5 - @ Arkansas L
11/12 - South Carolina W
11/19 - Presbyterian W
11/26 - @ FSU L

Close, but I disagree somewhat, we will not lose to the Vo11s, or Arky. I predict 10-2 and East championship just like I did last year, provided we find a QB. If we go to BR undefeated, who knows? and I never expect to lose to FSUcks.

So the only other 2 possible losses , talent for talent would be UF and UNC. You think UF will have the same D as last year. Absolutley not, and there is no reason to believe the offense will be that much better. And UNC loses Williams who accounted for 80% of their offense. Plus, I though it was always a given you can win 10 at UGA every year without trying?

Arkansas is tough to figure this year with what we lost on a great offense.

If the offense takes a big step back and the defense continues to fail then we are thrilled to hit 5-7 and Bert's seat grows red hot for the next season.

If either the offense stays the course or the defense takes a step up then 7-8 wins and crushing bowl victory over a hapless Big 12 team.

If both the offense and the defense take a step up then a 10 win season (we probably don't win the West) and a really nice NY6 bowl game.

My pick? 7-5. A nasty OOC schedule combined with a poor defense and an offense replacing a lot of starters ends in the typical dead at mid season and a nightmare at the end of the year run for the Hogs.

New Mexico State twice?

Hey, at least between those two and PV A&M, Myles Garrett will get 12 of his 15 sacks

By mid season, your skill players will be so frustrated with Trevor Knight, that they will begin showing their disenchantment with him on live TV in front of the whole country. I should know....

Until I see the QB play in the spring game I will with hold any firm judgement...however, we will be stout on defense again and those that think we wont will be in for a rude awakening...our secondary may be better than last years. I also think our DL will be just as hard to deal with for the SEC teams lining up against us. Therefore...I can count 7 wins just on defense.

Even though we had an 1,000 yd rusher in Kelvin Taylor, our overall run production was dismal and THATS what will get us over the hump...too many 3rd and longs last year.
Heres my reason for optimism: a) more experienced OL b) better, tougher RBs in our two Jordans and # 1 ranked JUCO RB in Mark Thompson who is a load to bring down. Just remember the name Mark Thompson. So...if we get decent QB play I see 9 or 10 wins.

LSU, USC & Mizzou all come a calling to the Swamp and yes, I count LSU as a W friends. Oh...they'll snicker until we kick their azz. The girls school game last year was close til 4th qt and our defense worn down...it was 13-2 in 4th qt. Bama ditto in SECCG..just no offense but stout as hell defense. Ditto LSU...just rewatch those games.
