Auburn is the only team Vandy can beat year after year from the West
GaTech is having a down year but the triple option is always a concern
SC returns an okay amount but shouldn't be enough to win @ Vandy
KY was a win last year and they don't improve much relatively.
6-6 is more likely. Anything less than 6 wins would be a disappointment for me in Mason's third year. OOC is much easier this year and Mizzou, SC, and KY are all winnable.

I could see Butch sucking again this year, going 7-5 or 8-4, then getting canned. The flip side of that for you all is that they would likely get a competent gameday coach that could bulldoze everyone with the talent Butch brought in.

Not sure. Hopefully he doesn't. That would be too Richt-like. But it's not like you all are favorites or anything over us this year, at least not yet. We will see how the beginning of the season shapes up and re-assess this game.

I can't wait til V&S says "He's done, it's over" in reference to Butch Jones. It's inevitable, perhaps it'll happen sometime in October this year?

yall aren't bama...you very well may be favored, almost surely will actually, but that doesnt' mean we have to draw up a couple triple reverse passes.
Win or lose, I dont' really see us resorting to any "stunts" anytime soon. The only real "stunt" we pulled under richt was 9 years ago and it wasn't even what he even told the team to do.

That's kind of how I feel about this game at this point. Just not enough information to make a great assessment. Big questions on both teams. 1st year and 2nd year head coach... Both were pretty anemic on offense last season (post Grier for UF). QB is a giant question mark.
I don't think Smart has any antics/stunts on this team (that go unaddressed). I feel they're going to be a very "on about their business" bunch. He'll have a ton of energy and get guys pumped up or get at that arse depending how things are going on the sidelines, but the days of pre-game artificial hype or mid-game antics should be over with and done IMO.

I'm hoping McElwain and Smart can bring the rivalry to the next level again. The last few years have been meh on both sides, with no one really doing anything post-victory. This game used to mean so much more on a national level. Maybe these guys can bring it to that point again.

I would love it, but I think it would require a new athletic director (something else I want).
