Auburn is at #2 because this is one those years that they often do well in. Everyone is talking about Gus being on the hotseat, how they'll only win 7 games, etc. and they have Bama and Georgia at home. Sounds a lot like 2013 and 2017.
Years like this is when Auburn thrives. Wouldn't be shocked at all if they go 10-2 or 11-1 in the regular season.

Three in a row faggie

The general consensus from what I’ve seen is most people in the know have Alabama #1 and A&M #2 in the SEC West

Shut up Daniel and go jerk off to the Texas board. No one with their head on straight thinks y’all will finish second in the sec. expect losses to both Mississippi schools lsu both bama schools and maybe aggie chad if you are feeling lucky

Then you should win the West this year. Right?
Personally, albeit it would be amazing to have this happen... I would prefer a repeat of 44-16. I have never seen the level of birch fest that ensued following that game.

Auburn had a horrible season last year and still managed to beat Texas A&M

Won 8 straight against us and LSU has this fool 10 kinds of triggered on a beautiful Wednesday morning.
He needs to be much more worried about Saban rigging the schedule/playoffs in order to avoid Clemson.

2-2 against Clemson in the Playoffs.
5 straight playoff appearances.
How many has LSU been to?

fig Nation doesn't count as "most people in the know."

Very impressive. Alabama might burn to the ground when the streak finally ends.

1. Alabama (Tua back, of course. It's hard to see anyone unseating them this year.
2. A&M (after finishing 2nd in the West last year, it's hard to see how anyone other than Bama beats them this year, now that the players have another year in Jimbo's system.)
3. LSU (They finished 3rd last year. Unfortunately for them, they lost quite a bit on defense. Also unfortunately for them, they return quite a bit on offense.)
4. Auburn (Finished 5th last year, but they still have a lot more talent that State or Ole Miss or Arkansas.)
5. Arkansas (Chad still has too little talent, but it will be interesting to see if he can scare some people with the new qb talent on campus.)
6. Ole Miss (More of the same from Ole Miss.)
7. State (They had the most talented defense in the nation last year, and largely wasted it. They lost so much, and it will be apparent on Saturdays.)
State will take a step back, no doubt, but despite your hopes and dreams, they won't be last. They will finish ahead of Arkansas because, well, Arkansas. And they will finish ahead of Ole Miss because, well, Ole Miss. And of course, they will finish ahead of Aggie because they own Aggie. I personally think State and Auburn will be battling it out for third.

Jonathan played safety and will be a huge loss you are correct. But the corners are largely intact. You should know that by the way the back ups bullied your California dream boy of a quarter back.
We lost our best corner, too. Granted, he missed time last year and others played in his spot, but Peters will get drafted and those guys aren't easy to replace.

LSU fans are flabbergasted at OP because he picked A&M to finish 2nd...yet the Aggies literally finished 2nd last year.

Yeah. You clearly haven't looked at the schedules.
