Would you like to post the year for the last time Auburn won in Baton Rouge?

3. LSU (They finished 3rd last year. Unfortunately for them, they lost quite a bit on defense. Also unfortunately for them, they return quite a bit on offense.)

Super solid analysis. We will for sure revisit this

Like A&M losing it's Top 6 tacklers, 7 of the Top 10 defenders in tackles as well.

Just laying the facts out there

Not sure what spring game you watched, but he didn't look like "poo". HE also was playing not at 100%.

Right?

While I would be ecstatic to finish 5th in the West I fear that we are going to be extremely young and lacking depth this season. We might knock off one of the Mississippi teams but other then that I don't really expect us to be competitive until 2020.

I would, however, dearly love to be proven wrong on that one.

7. State (They had the most talented defense in the nation last year, and largely wasted it. They lost so much, and it will be apparent on Saturdays.)

MSU will be lucky to be competitive at all this year. I'm hoping to keep it close until halftime and then leave the games.

Sure, they beat Auburn and aTm and Arkansas and Ole Miss LAST year. But those teams took huge leaps past MSU and are now out of reach.**

We were told on here last season that "Things are different this year!!!" and you proceeded to get shutout 29-0 and finish 3rd place in the West and lost to Jimbo in his first season at A&M while your coach was in his 3rd season. So, no things won't be any different this year either no matter how many times you want to tell yourself it will be.

Then you should win the West this year. Right?

Are you brain dead? My observation that LSU is returning 8 defensive starters was in direct rebuttal of OP's idiotic remark that LSU lost a lot on defense. Nothing more, nothing less.

The most important player on LSU's defense last year missed all of last season and that is K'Lavon Chaisson.

LSU hasn't finished higher than 3rd in the west since 2012 so I'm not sure why that was so funny
