Which is fair. Like I stated above the East is in a puddle of mediocrity, and there's no favorite IMO.

The reason I said I can't put Florida above UGA/SC is strictly on the fact that Florida is all talent with a new coaching staff. I have NO IDEA what will happen down there in Gainesville. They could blow us out of the water. At home. Or we could do that to them. It's crazy.

I completely agree. I'm looking forward to this season more than I've any season since '08. A lot of uncertainties. I'll say this, it's much easier to transition to a multiple/pro style offense than a pro style/multiple to the spread option.

IMO it wouldn't matter if USCe had a team like they did last year against UF in their last few SECC season's.

I can agree with that. I just think the whole "So and so was down" argument is retarded.

I do to, and I tried to make that argument after the USCe game, but it just doesn't make sense. Well in hindsight it does, but then you start looking deeper and you just have to tip your cap and say you got your arse whipped on the field.

I realize this year's results don't allow me to sit at the same table with Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, etc. But it still feels pretty damn good to be division champions.

Well, you gotta start somewhere. A division championship was a big step for Spurrier and the Cocks.

I hope we keep stepping forward instead of our usual one step forward and 20 steps back routine.

Also they really should turn emoticons back on.

I don't think any team will be better than 9-3.

I think UT wins it.

"So and so was down" is a retarded argument. The difference is, while USCe was down when Florida won all their division championships, Tennessee and UGA weren't down. When USCe won their one and only division championship, the entire rest of the division was down. So they really just won it by default. Kind of like Tennessee in 2007.

Wins what?

The Liberty Bowl, maybe.

Anyway, I don't get why so many people seem high on Georgia while down on Florida. As was already said, Florida has plenty of talent returning, I think Brantley will do better under Weis's system than he did under Herban's, and Georgia just lost their best player off of a team that lost to Central Florida.

South Carolina/Florida battle it out again, I think. I see Florida winning the East.

1. Florida - too much talent to not win games
2. Georgia - Richt on the hot seat gets his guys to play
3. Nobody cares after 1 & 2

Richt fired.

Some dawg fans are hoping for this. Probably going to take the bottom of the barrel for McGarity to pull the plug. Personally I think we come back and contend for the East. Just depends on the defense getting their act together.
