The SEC Championship Game and Bowl Games are the same season as the 12 scheduled games. There is no tournament, therefore there is no "post season."
You got rolled by Florida and Utah. You weren't on some magically John Wooden like streak when the Gamecocks took you down. But I assume T-shirts are in order.

Chizik should have suspended each for 2 quarters of the remainder of the game but then lifted the suspensions after one quarter if they were losing to Louisiana Monr...sorry, Oregon.
