It aint just on this board. State is 16th in the preseason coaches poll and 18th in the AP.

I’d say 8-4 but 7-5 or 9-3 wouldn’t surprise me. Figure losses to Alabama and Auburn, one of LSU or a&m and one of Arkansas, ole miss and Florida. I actually think miss state is better than those teams with the exception for bama and auburn but it’s difficult to win on the road in the sec, especially at LSU and I figure they will have one let down game. They will have the revenge factor against us but it’s in oxford on thanksgiving so that should be a good game. That defense is incredibly talented if their secondary has improved at all. Defensive line should be dominant.

They'll be 5-0, imo, after defeating UF.

I'm going with 8-4.
I can see this team pulling off an ugly win @ K-State and then turning around and losing at Kentucky and then winning home games vs Florida and Auburn.
That's a Mississippi State kinda thing to do.

It's gonna be 10-2 or 9-3. If we were to have some major injuries at OL 8-4 is in play.
