LSU is generally bad when they're supposed to be good, so I'll guess 5 wins..

What do you consider bad? We haven't missed a bowl game in 18 years? We have the 4th best record in CFB since 2000.

7-5 seems most likely.

Almost certain losses to AU, UGa and Bama; probably split the Miami/Florida/MSU/TAMU games.

Would 5 regular season losses cost Coach Hummah his job? I hope not, I would hate the idea of Aranda getting promoted to HC. I think he's got the potential to be an outstanding hire for someone, and since it won't be AU I'd much rather he be out of the conference.

7-5 or 8-4. I actually think they’ll have one of their better offenses since 2013 but their schedule is rough.

Well this is something that's been done yet. I mean damn... until your team plays ole Ed this year, you're stuck with having that hanging over your head. If you beat Ed down last year... talk shite all you want.

Wins: SELA, LaTech, Ole Miss, Florida, Arkansas, Rice

Losses: Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, Alabama, Texas A&M

Record: 6-6

I could see their season ranging from 4-8 to 8-4. They could lose on the road to Florida and Arkansas. They've got Georgia, State, and Bama all at home so in theory they could steal 1 or 2 of those. A&M is a toss up, I've got the Aggies simply because it's in College Station.

You’re exactly right. State fans will get their hopes sky high only to figure out that they are still State.... still a 7 or 8 win season at best. It always happens. This year is no different.

No, it actually doesn’t. See WG’s prediction thread year after year if you want to see some delusion. I’ll give you a hint.... it’s one of our fan bases and it isn’t State.

9 - 3 or 8 - 4

Main thing is, good enough for coach GumbeaUxO to stay on for another year.

I agree and even worse is the hog fan saying LSU would not win in Walmarkville.

However, I do hope LSU loses.

Why is it so far fetched that LSU doesn't beat Auburn?

LSU gonna struggle with Auburn, State (maybe?) and Bama. All the other games are definitely and probably winnable.

Edit: frick Auburn.
