$1000 O/U at 7, you get the under. If your most likely scenario hits, you’re $1k richer. Only in the best case scenario would you lose the $1k. I’ll even give +150 odds, so my $1.5k to your $1k. We can get a “trusted” 3rd party to hold the cash.

If DeBoar finds a good QB other than MiIroe 10-2 with a strong finish going into the playoffs. If not then it will be an 8-4 or 9-3 type year.

9-3-- three road losses, @ Tenn, @ LSU, @ Oklahoma

Take away 7 points a game for the refs that should no longer be biased and you get 8-4 or 7-5.

Smart lost to Vandy his first season. Saban lost to La-freakun-Monroe his first season. This guy isn't in the same class as either. Sorry Tide fans...
The last coach to follow Nick Saban was Les Miles at LSU. He went 11-2 his first season.

Only potential losses I see on their schedule are Georgia coming to Tuscaloosa wanting revenge, and @ LSU. LSU won't have Daniels though and if their defense doesn't improve dramatically then Bama wins that game pretty easily.
My dog (the smart one, not the stupid one) could coach that roster to 8 wins. A human with actual football acumen gets them to 10 or 11 with that schedule

All 3 are breaking in new QBs, not sure why they are getting any love (especially Oklahoma). LSU lost their OC and Heisman QB and I'm not sure they've done enough to shore up their defense. House is gone but it takes a new DC time to get a new scheme and buy-in implemented. Oklahoma would've been even more pedestrian this last season without Gabriel, who is gone. They're not the OU teams of the past since Venables has taken over. UT is starting a QB with very little live game experience against cupcakes.

That Wisconsin game is huge, imo. They better win it.
If they lose to Wisconsin, then the wheels may come off.
p.s. Hope the wheels come off.

I could see 11-1 or 9-3, their schedule was already brutal before Saban retired.
Norman in the end of November is always cold, windy, and miserable, especially if the game is played at night which is very likely. I was really looking forward to seeing Nick Saban coach in Norman this November.

i give them a 20% chance against UGA, 40% against LSU and Tennesee and 25% chance at OU

8-4 or 9-3. They do better than that and DeBoer wins SEC CoTY

Not sure, but from the way everyone here has been reacting since DeBoer was hired Alabama will be lucky to field a team and it would be a huge embarrassment to any other SEC team to lose to them. We may as well just shut the program down.
