I think stats wise, Prescott is a good bet for QB.
If we're going for a guy who puts up numbers, then the only answer is Wallace.
He was 2nd in the SEC last year in passing yards behind Manziel. Had 3,701 all purpose yards and 24 touchdowns. I think people have really short memories on this board, and are discounting Wallace because of his performances against Mizzou and State, while completely ignoring his performances against LSU, Texas A&M, Texas, etc.

Oh you're right, I forgot his hero moment to beat 6-6 Mississippi State

Sammie Coates as a wide receiver, Robenson Therezie in the secondary.

Wallace had a 138 QB Rating last year which wasn't good enough to be Top 50 among QUALIFIED QBs last season.

Marshall is far from the best quaterback in the conference in a traditional sense but he will be the most successful on the field this year at the position based on what he's asked to do.

How about leading his team to a 12-2 record after the team was 3-9 before he got there? Or outperforming any of you guys expectations?

I'd say Skai Moore has a shot at one of the OLB spots. Great first year.
As for the QB spot, Marshall is probably the money pick right now. There just isn't enough info on anyone else coming into the role and of the returning starters he's got the most prestige.

I was just replying to someone who said "stats wise" and offered some actual statistics.

No, where did I say anything that led you to that?
Discounted passing stats. Discounting getting a playmaker at WR helping Marshall's passing stats.

In the end an all-conference pick is usually 2 things - stats and who they think the best guy is.
Pretty contradictory to your comment about getting a playmaker at WR "doesn't make him a better QB". I'd say that could definitely help him statistically. At the end of the day, no one is more proven to be the "better guy" than Marshall at this point.

Just repeating it again since you proved it again.

Not sure how any of this falls into what I've been talking about. That was a team effort too, not nearly just on Marshall. Hell, it was a 2 OTHER team meltdown effort to get to 12 wins,

QB Rating is the best QB statistic. Wallace was no good there.

Hey you're right, congrats on his big moment against a .500 team.

No I didnt. I just said stats who and they believe is the best player is what leads to all-conference picks (Well, POST season).
Pre-season conference picks are generally stupid because they just choose the best "left over" player from the previous year which in some cases, like QB this year, looks hilarious.

Stats wise Hunter Henry will be 1st team TE but everyone is still saying Howard in this thread. I think the criteria here is all over the place.

Just face it, you don't know shite about what Wallace did last year. It's pretty obvious by the statements I replied to.

No it is absolutely not. It's pretty widely criticized and is hardly agreed upon as the "best" anything.

Wallace would be my preseason pick... he'll put up big passing numbers again.
Nick might lead the league in total yards
