That's fricked up. I don't understand why people kill people they supposedly love before committing suicide. What possible fricking reason could they have for it? I'm not sure it could get more selfish.
Also not sure why the article says twice the man set the fire after killing himself.

Yeah article is very confusing in that regard. Only thing I can think of is he killed him self after setting it on fire and it burned to the ground after he was dead

I can not wrap my head around it ever since hearing about it late yesterday. Just crazy.

I have heard of this type of murder and then suicide before. My guess is the divorce is so bitter the one spouse wants to do everything possible to hurt the other spouse. Sick, sick people.

That's a possibility. Another one is that he may have been fricking insane. Family annihilators trying to spare their family some sort of perceived indignity aren't unheard of.

I knew this family, only through tailgating. My son and Rex the oldest are the same age. We have been tailgating right next to the family for 20 years. It has shaken me and my family when we heard the news. Had to give my son a big hug and kiss, that he didn't like but o well.
Can not fathom how any father could do anything of the sort, especially one that seemed to love his boys as much as I love mine.
