Mac seems good at identifying stuff pre snap. Throws to his first choice short a lot. Will be interesting to see if/when they open up the offense. Pats longest pass play is 32 yards this season

He's gonna have to get more time in the pocket. Right now everyone is blitzing him a lot because he is a rookie, so the only thing he can do is take the short passes and make them pay for it.
Those longer passing plays take time to develop. And you need receivers who get open and don't keep bobbling the ball for interceptions.
