Please for the love of God stop!!! Post this crap on the Mizzou board for Mizzou fans to look at. None of the fans of the other SEC teams gives a crap. If Mizzou finally does something noteworthy like Win the SEC or Actually win a Natty in the modern age then you are welcome to come on here and gloat. Until that day comes, you are best to quietly enjoy being in the best conference in college football and root for your team. Posting this stuff just makes us all look foolish. We have a good team that looks like it might make some noise this year. Be satisfied with that and stop trying so hard to convince the rest of this board that your team is somehow elite. The players are the ones that will determine how great they can be.

I have one other complaint. When we announced MIZZOU's move to the SEC, I went to the Toilet Bowl game in Shreveport. LSU fans showed up at our game against North Carolina and welcomed us into the conference. They rooted for Mizzou at that game and It was awesome. I have zero hard feelings against LSU because of the support they showed to Mizzou in our last Big 12 game. They were some of the very few fans that showed decency to a new member of the conference. Stop being D!ck$ to a fan base that actually showed us some decency.

Sure you did. I have been a member of this board since 2011 when Mizzou first started looking at the possibility of joining SEC. Over time I have noticed a change in the Mizzou fans that post on here. What started off as relieved fans that just got out from under a bad marriage has turned into the BS that we currently see on these boards. I will acknowledge that many on this board did not like the idea of TAMU or Mizzou joining, our 2nd and 3rd years in the conference we managed to Win the East Division and some of the "you don't belong" crap quieted down. Then we had the BS protest garbage that just damaged Mizzou's image and Pinkel became a casualty of that crap. I know he was battling cancer but the protests and his players joining in just gave him and the program a black eye. He stepped out as gracefully as he could. Barry Odom could not resurrect what Pinkel had built. so here we sit with Drink, trying to rebuild something respectable in this conference. The last thing we need is a bunch of Mizzou folks running their mouths and showing the rest of the world that we are desperate for acceptance. We are here, we are improving the program and facilities. That is all that needs to be said. Quietly sneak up on the competition and prove you belong. That is what needs to be done.

Man, if you’ve “been here since 2011,” you should know better than anyone that posting stats and graphics isn’t desperation, it’s pride in the program. Every single fanbase in the SEC posts about their records, their players, their facilities. It’s part of their supposed culture. Nobody tells Georgia, Bama, LSU, or Tennessee fans to “be quiet and sneak up on people.” They brag. They promote. They celebrate.
Mizzou sitting at 23–5 since 2023 is one of the best records in the country. That’s not “trying too hard,” that’s just facts. If you see that and immediately jump to “oh no, people will think we’re desperate,” maybe the problem isn’t the post (it’s your mindset).
SEC football is built on swagger, tradition, and talking noise. If you’d rather sit in the corner quietly and hope the big dogs pat you on the head, that’s your business. But don’t tell the rest of us to muzzle our pride just because you’re still carrying scars from 2015.
Mizzou doesn’t need to ask to belong, we’ve already proved it on the field, and we’re going to keep proving it. If that makes you uncomfortable, maybe you’re the one who needs to “stop.”
